British Final 2022
Endeavour replied to Hackett's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Well aware they get FIVE ! programmed rides. My point is there may have been a clear winner if they had got to four rides each. -
British Final 2022
Endeavour replied to Hackett's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
The thing that astounds me is that there was no provision put in place for any possibility weather wise BEFORE the meeting. Manchester is hardly noted for being sunny and dry all year round. If rain forecast no parade. Just possibly could have got to each rider having his four programmed rides. You could argue Ellis didn’t get a chance to ride at Cardiff last year. If he was in the mix there would have been less of an outcry. Perhaps people need to take off their (insert colour of team) tinted glasses and say what would have been a fair decision. Don’t call out Ellis. What rider would turn it down? Call out the powers that be who had no provision in place. -
Glasgow v Edinburgh Jubilee Trophy 31st July @3pm
Endeavour replied to Gazc's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Hard to get neutral venue. At least it’s at a track that is in a different league. Pairs in the past have been at Glasgow, Workington, Somerset and now this year Oxford - 2nd tier division tracks. Could have had a 4TT final with best 2nd place team being the 4th qualifying team. -

No. Just my opinion Gazc. Haven’t heard who Monarch’s guest is. Can’t see anyone matching Masters scoring potential. -
Berwick v Glasgow Jubilee Cup 30/07/2022

Glasgow should win by a canter tonight. Think they are home and hosed and will top the league. Can’t see Monarchs getting enough tomorrow to finish top. Would have been a farce if Josh had ridden tonight. -

Sitting in the cow shed on 3/4 bend totally agree. Like Ulrich but far too aggressive last night firstly on Kye then Paco. Best wishes to Sam who was having surgery last night, Lasse and Cookie. -
Very weak at reserve if these changes were made.

Wow. Didn’t realise how close it was to the coast.

KOC Sat 4 June - Glasgow v Edinburgh
Endeavour replied to Endeavour's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Delighted that we won. Bit nervous sitting with the phone on Monarchs updates. Watching GP at same time and that went out the window. Big get out of jail card for Monarchs. If Cookie hadn’t had bike gremlins on Saturday Glasgow would have been in semis. Never thought Sedgy would have passed Tom. Ironically the fortunes and misfortunes of 2 blue and gold legends decided the match. Strange decision by Cami Brown not to track Nicol in heat 14, perhaps influenced by the fact it was Paco for Monarchs. An overall win and I’ll take it but didn’t feel the same with only three of our boys in the team.Hope Kye okay. -

Need Richard Lawson to have the gating gloves on and score round about 13 mark. Hope I’m wrong but can’t see other 5 scoring 25 points between them. time for Paco to step up to the plate away from home. -
Edinburgh v Glasgow KO Friday 3rd June
Endeavour replied to Al Stewart's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
We went to Workington in Cup a few years ago with a so called “unassailable lead” and got thumped. Sam and Josh couldn’t have done any more last night. -

Think the problem could be that it is a GB KOC match, not a league fixture. polish league then has first dibs. -

So no Sarj, Sam, Josh and looks like Lasse too. A select team. A joke. Now let’s guess the guests. -
Does anyone know if Sam and Josh are in Poland next Saturday?

Damaged more than his helmet. Lasse looked in agony. Said he didn’t want to borrow another rider’s helmet. -

Sad news. There was a rumour going about this was last season. Lot of time and effort gone into Academy and the three other teams to have no alternative venue. -

Endeavour replied to Gringo's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Thanks to young Kyle Bickley. Didn’t let us down. A lot of pressure on our 3 Aussies, especially away from home with Sarj being out for a length of Tim.e Reaching Top 6 going to be a challenge with Lasse and Paco so poor yesterday.
