Congratulations to Leicester. Beaten fair and square tonight. Hit us hard from heat 1. Consistent from the start and not afraid to ride aggressively into first / second bend. heats 1 to 8 - 13 points ahead. Honours even 9 to 14 until heat 15s 5-1. A lot more fight from the Lions than our boys. 3 ex Monarchs scored 35 points, 1 less than our 7. Says it all.

Endeavour replied to JanAndersen's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Agree. But there was no contingency plan. -
Edinburgh - new home required….
Endeavour replied to JanAndersen's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
At the Deer Park fans meeting I asked what contingency plans were in place, meaning if this new stadium plan didn’t come to fruition. The reply I was given was more along the lines of we may have to start the season in May at new stadium. Seems never trust the Council. -
I asked a genuine question about Cookie. Favourite rider.

Any update on Craig Cook?

Would have liked to have seen the four team tournament back rather than the Jubilee Cup.

Berwick v Scunthorpe 27/08/22 7pm
Endeavour replied to Normski's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Has Richard guested for every team in Championship this year? I can think of Scunny, Redcar, Edinburgh, Berwick -
Anyone heard how Cookie is?

Very rarely. They always pick Rangers and Celtic for coverage in cup competitions. Devastated when they draw each other.

BSN are improving. Hopefully last time Havelock is on co comms.

They can ride for Plymouth or guest for Ulrich.

Was one not a cup match. Perhaps 2 successive league matches? -
Sub titles required.

GRAND PRIX CHALLENGE
Endeavour replied to spiegal's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Craig Cook finished 4th in GP challenge. Made Grand Prix as Dudek finished in top 6 -
Sam started well but as a previous post suggest flagged a bit in his last 2 rides. A courageous performance from the captain on a heavy track. Paco best rider tonight. When he didn’t come round after his last race and headed to pits I thought he was a certainty for heat 15. Poor management IMO. Castagna merited heat 15. Only dropped a point, paid 11. Manager should have put him in last heat.

Oxford v Edinburgh 17 August 2022 Championship
Endeavour replied to eide67's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well done boys. think we should tell Paco every race he is in is heat 14. Sam rumoured to be back Friday. Hope not a gamble. -
Would agree to a certain extent but the track curator has a duty of care to the riders to provide a track that is safe. They in turn can race. Cardiff is a vibrant city and I enjoy my trips there. Some hotels have trebled their prices from the 2020 ones. Never been to a Grand Prix abroad but I think it is something many folk would consider for next year.

What website can you book that on please?

Speedway Fair at Cardiff 2022?
Endeavour replied to glenantony's topic in Souvenirs & Memorabilia etc
Would be great if you could purchase riders merchandise too. Woffy had a very professional stall opposite the stadium and Dan’s Dad was selling his stuff near there too. Didn’t see anyone else. -
Championship Pairs 2022
Endeavour replied to Triple.H.'s topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Went to the pairs. Firstly, great to see Oxford back in Speedway. Only a few good races. Partly due to dilution of field, injuries, Cardiff duty etc. Edinburgh had no chance when both Sam and Josh ruled out. Many congratulations to Redcar, you can only beat what’s in front of you. It seems to be set in stone that the pairs now seems to be night before Cardiff GP. Why? If a stand alone meet, venue could vary from year to year. Hey even have it at the NATIONAL Speedway Stadium. -
British Final 2022
Endeavour replied to Hackett's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
Well aware they get FIVE ! programmed rides. My point is there may have been a clear winner if they had got to four rides each.
