  1. I think klima would return and fredrickson has posted a nice message online to say he wouldn’t be back at Plymouth.
  2. Can’t imagine you will be too far off with that. who’s the best 2-3 point rider next season ? (apart from the obvious Cooper who will be a great signing for the teams. )
  3. Oh heck. Surely you can’t have a worse number one than Plymouth ?
  4. Let’s hope everyone keeps up off the track and trying to push the sport forward. That first meeting no doubt against Poole in some “randomly” drawn cup competition will be a huge crowd.
  5. Some people seem a bit salty 😂 surely people not worried about little old Plymouth.
  6. So currently….. 1- King 2-? 3-? 4-? 5- Nicholls 6-? 7-?
  7. They will defo have one rider over 8. And a good one at that.
  8. Don’t think it’ll be Thompson… but a surprise no one has mentioned ….
  9. I think it would be great to have him back. as mentioned before add in him and Nicholls at 1 and 5. Barker, Joe Thompson and Bowtell/Tomsen in the engine room with klima and another at reserve think it would be a good team.
  10. What website is this from ? Looks a great tool if it’s in the public domain.
  11. Surely though any good team have to change the majority of the team year on year.
  12. Think he maybe at Plymouth potentially next year.
  13. On top of this if riders were guaranteed 30 meetings this would then mean not to worry for the fact they can’t double up but also give them good chance for decent money that could long term attract riders.
  14. Great signing for Scunthorpe but I can’t help but think this links to potentially one big league ? I did hear potential rumours of no TV deal and therefore having 1 league of 15 teams with two cup competitions of over 30 guaranteed fixtures. potentially completely wrong but could be a slightly higher points limit to potentially allow the top riders to move down like this signing. Great work however Scunthorpe.
  15. This is exactly it. Plymouth are 99.9% of the time competitive at home. As people state there are a limited amount of people left that go to the speedway purely because they love and study the sport. But people go because there is a great vibe currently at Plymouth, everyone is welcome, the production that is produced is aimed at getting people to come back, the kids get involved, the promotion are forward thinking, it’s all more than just 15 minutes of racing. on top of that the track has been really good and the new potential plans for the track of the winter is only going to enhance the racing further. and as said above the fact the Scott Nicholls is prepared to return must mean Plymouth are doing something right. I think Plymouth will have a strong team next year that should compete for trophies and it would be nothing less than mark and co deserve.
  16. Not complaints if that was the case… so you recon something along the lines of potentially… D Thompson A Bowtell J Thompson B Barker S Nicholls Klima 3 point reserve
  17. From the rumoured 7 that is going to be at Plymouth next season I think they will be very hard to beat at home. lewy….. what’s your thoughts on Bowtell, I really like him but would you have him over Tobias Thomsen or Klima. if you could only have 2 of those 3 ?
  18. Really? A rider that scored 18, 13, 12, 13, 11, 10 and 7 at home this season. For a rider on a 6.12 average next year I think it makes sense to keep him for his home scores even if his away scores were poor last year. if Plymouth can win all the home meetings and keep away meetings close that should be enough for that play off space.
  19. I mean technically that would have been longer than 5 minutes. it’s ok angel don’t be so angry.
  20. Glasgow with all the money they could need complaining that the 1 rider over 8 rule is unfair. Scunthorpe who maybe have less money are more than likely going to be happy by this rule. I thunk the rules makes sense to the competition as a whole as realistically to make more teams competing and then therefore elevate all crowds up and down as apposed to just the good ones. I understand why people may loan at it for the big boys but I think for the league itself it will make it more competitive.
  21. If so good signing for Workington and think that maybe opens the door for Dan Thompson to Plymouth with his brother.
  22. Hypothetically speaking if all the riders were free agents and under draft and clubs picked a rider one by one. Who would be the first 5 riders to go ? Teams still have to be built to points limit and the proposed rules. but who do you think would be the first 5 riders selected ?
  23. What a 5 minutes that was…. Poole lose and Scott Nicholls announces his return for Plymouth next season.
  24. Further thoughts could be ….. 1- Klindt 2- Tobias T 3- Batchelor 4- Barker 5- Nicholls 6- Klima 7- 2.0 reserve or if no klindt maybe swap him and batch as that would be unlikely for the Thompson twins.
