Again another great night at Plymouth and another big crowd who loved every moment. The crowds are getting bigger and it’s consistent, it really is rising in popularity in Plymouth and the work the media team, Barry and mark have done is incredible. not sure how to post videos from Facebook on to here but there is a brilliant one summarising the evening and it really engages with the locals. Also the touch of added brilliance of the fire work display really added to the event. I feel like Plymouth could be a team to watch next year 👀

Honestly we couldn’t care less ! Bet we are one of the most progressive speedway clubs this year.

But Plymouth keep winning at home. We don’t want to win by too many.

Everything that is wrong with this forum is on this thread. Plymouth win and beat a very good Poole side and all people can do is moan about the number one not being there or something else. you could argue that Lewis Kerr could have easily got up off the track when Plymouth on a 5-1, could argue then in the reruns that cairns didn’t allow any room for Spencer. Nicholls was on a 5-1 and bike gave up, Bowtell was trying just a bit to hard was on a 5-1 and slide off in heat 8. Lawson was his usual great self around the arena and set the track record in heat 1 apart from that it was pretty much nothingness from the rest of the pirates. To be fair i thought Tobias tried hard but the rest were poor which is unlike them normally but seems the norm of late, they will need to improve lots to win the play offs. I don’t think they can make any changes but it wouldn’t surprise me if they did. Plymouth are currently on a roll and the feel good factor around the place is evident with the crowd that are coming and the buzz that is on social media on Facebook etc. Think people just like sniping at Plymouth for the sake off it and it seems to have the opposite effect on what these people want.

With all the money you have you should be 😂 how dare lil old Plymouth beat you god theres gunna be some pirates riders who are gunna panic for there position.

Plymouth are not cheating anyone or the public Infact by having klindt as an actual heat leader for 5 matches as an example as apposed to a random second sting that just happens to be available. If Plymouth wanted to cheat the public they would have not bothered getting in Nicholls. If you could let us know of the available heat leader you know so well that will not cheat the public do let us know. as stated it’s benefiting Plymouth and Plymouth are doing well with it, winning at home, running Poole close away, Plymouth are more than happy to keep doing what we are doing even if no one likes it. the riders that have come in have given great entertainment and points to the team.

Plymouth are not doing anything wrong. They are playing within the rules to give themselves the best chance to win. If they could change to another rider I’m sure they would, but unless you have a brilliant idea on who to bring in instead as a heat leader let us know. when the rules change Plymouth will have to change with it but currently the rule in place is best for Plymouth and arguably best for public as they get some of a heat leader as apposed to no heat leader. anyways up the glads and let’s go get this bonus point.

Plymouth are dammed If they do and dammed if they dont. There are not enough number one riders out there so they get one who was not riding in the league and originally was free and able to ride all of the meetings. Poland come in and chuck a load of money at someone of course they will take it as a rider but why is that Plymouth cheating? If Plymouth were really wanting to gain an advantage surely they would say he is withholding his services and they get to use a rider up to his points as apposed to a reduced points. Oh and it’s seems Plymouth fans are really enjoying it this year as an FYI crowds seem to be doing really well, the team is full of real triers, the meeting is an event as apposed to just racing, the announcers do a good job of entertaining, kids get involved with races. Theres a lot of good going on at Plymouth and to be honest if they win home meetings I don’t think many really care if it’s with or without klindt (in a nice way to klindt). I am looking forward to facing Poole this week. Obviously poole have a great team but the way Plymouth have been riding lately with the new team I think it could prove to be some really good meetings. instead of constantly preaching negativity on this forum why don’t you actually try and big up the sport ? sooner rather later the sport will be gone and the amount of negativity and constant swipes at teams on social media and internet will have an effect and it does effect people. for what it’s worth plymouths been great this year and the paying public will tell you that (a lot who are not on here) as there seems to be a new wave of crowds coming to Plymouth.
