Peterborough Panthers 2016
Dandelion replied to mudflaps's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I'm not claiming anyone has cheated, I am questioning the BSPA or whoever it was for saying that the Cook situation was initially not good for British speedway but lets this one happen no problem, a Czech for a young Brit, nothing against Peterborough, they just happen to be the team as the example, because it's them who's made the change -

How the HELL has Holub replaces Stokes? Who I thought had replaced Tom Perry as the new 3.00 number 7? But now all of a sudden Perry was always that number 7 rider and Holub has come in for Stokes? I'm so confused Speedway is just going from one extreme to another, Wouldn't let Cook ride initially because it didn't have British speedway as the best interest but allows a Czech rider to replace a young Brit against the 3.00 rule no problem, and don't get my wrong, I love Holub, but wtf? -
So the squad rule comes in for Elite League clubs so they can replace riders if they need to, yet they still take priority of riders over PL clubs that don't have squads... This makes no sense to me, if the EL takes priority then the PL should surely be the league with squads?? I know it comes down to money but the EL manages it, PL teams should take priority of the riders and EL should use their squads (Dennis Jonsson @ Lakeside for example) (Ben Barker @ Coventry) (Kai Huckenbeck @ King's Lynn) No one @ any PL club... Just a quick rant Haha, I'm bored at work ANYWAYYY... Even though I can't make this meeting tomorrow I can really see the Diamonds getting a win here with Richie, Robbo and Garcia as great guests And Matej Kus, Steve Worrall and Danny Phillips all having PLENTY of experience around Redcar

Oh really? Sorry I hadn't realized he was Polish tbh, I just saw him while I was in Denmark a while back and was really impressed but I had never heard his name since, I thought he was Czech or something, it wasn't really a suggestion, more of an enquiry to him as a rider as I can't find much information on him
-
Just throwing it out there Dan Greenwood for Danny Phillips I know we've been there and done that with Greenwood, but I feel he's a bit more ready now, a few years older and he's ridden our track before, and I feel like that little bit extra down at reserve may help us tremendously, Danny Phillips has done absolutely nothing wrong, I just feel like it's a few years too soon for him maybe, could he stay on as a number 8? I know this is harsh but if they want to win trophies, sometimes sports teams have to be harsh (to an extent)

Ronni Jamrozy Saw him riding in Denmark while I was there and I don't know much about him tbh other than I'd like to see how he goes in the British leagues, that's if he's even available/allowed OR Mathias Thornblom!! PLEASE someone sign him back to the UK

Everyone needs to give this kid a break!! He's just come from the other side of the world to ride on a track presumably nothing like he's ridden before and because he's not the next Max Fricke, everyone is freaking out, just because Edinburgh have had a few years of success, they need to get used to what defeat tastes like, I hope Jye finishes this year, signs for Glasgow next year and turns into a wonderkid

Whether it's a Kinvig article or what that Campbell dude says, it shouldn't have been made, this is not a 'pop' at the club, just whichever heartless moron made this article

Dandelion replied to Pogo1's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Ahhh, well considering Worrall and Lambert are on the same averages, then the 8.70 still applies, does it not? Although these might be next month's figures I'm going by -
I understand, I'm sorry, I hadn't read any of the other conversations other than the post before talking about Alden, so I just wrote that before I was off to work, sorry for causing any confusion

What's wrong with Wolbert? I rather like him I'd like to see Lasse, Garrity or Kenneth Hansen as a guest if any are available as Steve can have anyone up to a 8.70 average guesting for him -
I'm not even sure who Chris Kerr is as I've not been going to speedway that long But I meant Seb's injury It's easy to get mixed up in two conversations on the same thread, especially when I only say 2 words, so I'm not surprised you got confused The fact it's too tight and disappears?

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Dandelion replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Well Czech Republic, other side of Europe, non English speaking, culture is completely different, it's not like he's even used to being in the country, the setting will be completely different, just look at Miedzinski in England compared to Poland as an example Yes, he's representing his country, so he MUST be good, just needs a little time, he's only really young Lots of riders try to rush back from injury while it's too early because at the end of the day if they're not riding, they're not scoring points, and if they're not scoring points, they're not getting payed, and speedway if far too expensive to not get payed, I mean yeah, he should have waited until he was better, but try telling that to him once he got his helmet on and a chance to ride, they're adrenaline junkies and they want payed!! Also the 4h 4a theory is probably true too, since they've now dropped him, but I feel only to get Wilkinson to reserve I could stick up for Zdenek all day -
The age limit seems ridiculous, all of this crap about bringing on young talent but they won't let young riders ride?? Seems weird, this would have been a big night and a lot of experience for Joe Lawlor, but instead he's sat at home doing his homework now?? I just don't understand Also what average would William Lawson come in on? A 3.00?

Scunthorpe Scorpions 2016?
Dandelion replied to Paul Johnson's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Holub is 20 and Bailey is 18/19??? PLUS, Bailey might have ridden at Berwick at like a practice? Where Holub is half way around the world? I think he needs to be given a chance, yeah he's not a 7 pointer yet, but he's only 20, and he needs time to develop, especially if he's only just came back from injury
