  1. Will it stay the same? With just a 3.00 rider at number 7, or will we follow in the footsteps of the EL and have both reserves as a part of a draft system. I think this seems like a better idea as far as I can tell, as there isn't really enough 3.00 reserves that are good enough to make the racing interesting and competitive in my opinion. I also think that dropping the average limit down would help this too although I personally don't think that would be a good idea as weaker teams may mean that certain fans could lose interest. Using this years starting averages as an example as I don't know how this years averages will finish I think something like this would seem good, however I really don't know if it'd work or be feasible. James Sarjeant Adam Ellis Stefan Nielsen Adam Roynon Liam Carr Dan Bewley Danny Ayres Danny Phillips, Darryl Ritchings, Oliver Greenwood, Dan Greenwood, Ashley Morris, Tom perry. Ellis Perks, Lee Payne, Josh Bailey, Ben Morley, Richard Hall, Carl Wilkinson, Zach Wajknecht, Nathan Greaves, Matt Williamson, Connor Mountain, James Shanes... Plus many more (Obviously there are riders like JPB that may step up next year now) I just feel like this system would not only guarantee 2 British reserves for all teams in the league, but it would make the reserves races much more competitive, rather than the two races in one race that I've seen most times this year, also I think that there should be 2 reserves races each meeting like in the EL to make them more important, unlike now where the number 7 can get 0 points from 3 rides and the team could still win big, it'd put more pressure but also give more experience to the new, young British reserves for the PL Another thought regarding the average limit of teams, there could be a limit of like 35/37.5 for the top 5 and a limit of 8 for the reserves, as separate figures, so for example a team could choose a 3.00 and a 5.00 to have one big reserve and a new reserve to the league or they could go for two 4.00 reserves, again as I don't see enough 3.00 reserves to make the racing competitive. Just my opinion, dunno what anyone else thinks and I'm SURE someone can tell me why this wouldn't work or why it'd be wrong
  2. rubbish, was looking forward to watching Garrity I don't understand why he's so unpopular, think it will be a pretty straight forward win now though Edit: lol it changed sh*t to rubbish
  3. Bugger! I know this may be selfish but I was hoping it'd be off so I could see Robson x3 Good luck to the lads tonight then Hope all goes well for them and we get a big win, which is what we need
  4. Still in Devon, how is the weather looking up there in Newcastle? Is the meeting going to be on? Pretty windy and humid down here Hopefully a big win tonight although I'm sad that I'm missing Kennett and Robbo at Brough
  5. Well he's not exactly going to put "Should be an easy win against a crappy Rockets side and the Diamonds are clearly the best ever" Is he? Just saying... I'm not saying that the Rockets are crappy this year, looking forward to seeing Branford ride
  6. I hope so Jenga Will be watching on the updates website from Devon though
  7. What the hell are people arguing about? O.o Unfortunately I won't be able to make the meeting on Saturday, good luck Diamonds!
  8. Ricky Wells was born in New Zealand yet he represents America in the World Cup, Jason Bunyan riding for New Zealand is nothing XD
  9. I think Ludvig has done great away so far this season??? And at home, very consistent now and would ALWAYS be in my team Edit: Although I've said he should always been in our team since he joined, even when everyone seemed to be against him, he's easily always been our most entertaining rider and every team needs a personality like his
  10. That's a shame Must have been a pretty serious injury Also was looking forward to watch Josh Bates
  11. A tough meeting against who I feel (especially with Garrity) is the strongest looking side on paper, however without Garrity I think the Diamonds will win this meeting by about 12 or 14 points and we just gotta hope we can get the 2nd leg in before Garrity returns, although I do wish him the best of recoveries as he's one of my favourite riders and I never like to see an injured rider When is Garrity due to return?
  12. Shame of it is, the same can be said about you
  13. Crap, I meant Lee Payne... Long ass day >.> I was just wondering people's opinions, what Tobias was like how he would cope? He seems better than Jacob but not a number 1 is how I see things, and you seem to agree with me Tbh I hope Redcar get a result tonight, I like to see my local teams doing good for a change Edit: Ignore me, I'll be back in a few hours, hopefully with a brain..... But unlikely, I meant over the next few weeks, not tonight
  14. See Tobias is now at number 1 as of July, maybe that signing has backfired now? Or is he number 1 ready? 1. Tobias Busch 7.00 2. Lasse Bjerre 6.84 3. David Bellego 6.83 4. Hugh Skidmore 6.65 5. Jonas B Andersen 5.98 6. Simon Nielsen 4.63 7. Danny Phillips 3.62
  15. I really like the sound of this What are the BSPA doing?
  16. No offence Sunthorpe, but should be two easy wins, their main riders aren't so good around Brough although I am really looking forward to seeing Carl Wilkinson ride against Lewis Rose Not sure how well Josh Bailey will go around Brough Park but hopefully Danny Phillips can beat him and actually get some points!! Robert Lambert and Steve Worrall should be much, MUCH stronger around Brough Park than Josh Auty and Ryan Douglas who both tend to really struggle around the tight bends. Matej Kus and Ludvig Lindgren should also comfortably beat the Scorpions 3 and 4 around Brough although Michael Palm Toft has had decent meetings at Brough in the past, although from the reserve position Although Lewis Kerr is an ex-Diamonds and knows the track well, I would hope Victor Palovaara could beat him Going for a 60+ win in the first meeting and a high 50 win in the second although if we can just score over 110 points on the night, it'll be great to watch
  17. lol, no one is whining, or at least I'm not, it's just a public forum where people put forward ideas Thanks
  18. Who's riding in Poland from the PL? Genuine question Also then make it Monday!! People can make Cardiff and the pairs a long weekend
  19. Maybe you can guest for this too? As well as the tractor Did I just say something right for once? lol, I am not saying this because I watch Newcastle most weeks, I am saying this in the interest of the event, I'd like to see Danny King riding too, but he won't be either (Presumably???)
  20. However I do have to agree with this, maybe have it after Cardiff? Riders can still ride without fear of missing Cardiff and crowds will still be boosted by the crowds of Cardiff, because most people hang around after the GP, Couldn't the pairs be on the Sunday or Monday?
  21. Lindgren and Kus, who knows what you'll get from them, they might come last or they might go far!! I highly doubt they'll win though Although when is the pairs? Could be Palovaara by then instead of Kus? I know it's annoying but can't you be happy that two of our riders will be at Cardiff this year? HUGE for Steve!! I'm so happy for him
  22. I see, thank you Seems like a weird situation, I didn't know any of this was going on until last night, I hope it gets sorted out and Mildenhall speedway remains
  23. Can somebody explain to me what the hell ACTUALLY happened?
