Roy probably just wanted to go get some Pavlova on the way home and accidentally put Victor into heat 15 -

Where can I find the updates for this meeting? Oh no -
ok It was just a curious question tbh, I really like watching him and never hear anyone talking about him, I think he'd be great in the EL, but don't ever see that happening Next year I would like to see Lindback and Thomas H Jonasson back
-
What average would Martin Vaculik come into the Elite League on?
-
No offence to Ben Hopwood, but whether he was allowed to guest both times or not, it hardly matters because he hardly scored a point and it didn't effect either of the results You're saying that Tungate is "pants" around Brough, but I think he has stepped up BIG TIME this year, and think he would have gone well, shame he wasn't there 2 of the 3 riders I was really looking forward to seeing weren't even there and as previously stated, yes it's annoying when there isn't 7 man teams, but that doesn't take away from the fact that it was a great meeting
-
Exactly Although Batchelor would be so frustrating to watch, imo, he's so inconsistent and whenever I've happened to watch him he's ALWAYS got bike problems
-
I just thought of upcoming riders who have experience around Rye House There isn't many upcoming youngsters, nevermind ones who ride Rye well, you never know
-
If his average drops below 6 in the EL, it is currently 6.26, although the way he's going it probably will Obviously we don't know the rules or final averages yet but if it's the same rules I'd go with 1. Edward Kennett 9.43 2. Cameron Heeps 5.59/Kasper Lykke 5.24 (Dunno who would be more popular) 3. Jack Holder 6.92 4. Stuart Robson 7.07 5. Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen 6.98 6. Rob Branford 3.40 7. Luke Priest/Danyon Hume 3.00 Total: 42.39/42.04 This is of course using the averages as they are now and they could change but looks good to me
-
I know, that's what I'm saying, Victor's average will go above the R/R average (Lewis' I assume) and R/R will go down to 6 on the averages, then meaning we'll have to bring in guests which would probably be riders weaker than Ashley, I am actually really happy that Ashley is a Diamond for the rest of 2016 and maybe if he does good he can book a place for 2017 too
-
I thought about Victor coming into the team and R/R going to 6 but I didn't know if the averages changed now and couldn't be bothered to raise the point and another argument, so thanks Plus I was thinking if Victor was at 6 his average would go up quicker making it harder to fit him into the team for 2017 Victor and Ludvig at 3 and 4 for 2017?
-
Probably won more in 2010 then Wenger ever has o.O Although I dunno, I hate football
-
Thanks for clearing that up, I wasn't sure Would have been good though

Tom Perry was a 3.00 reserve at the beginning of the season, so he was a draft rider, no? So couldn't we have replaced Phillips with Perry and Rose with Morris? I know Perry signed for Berwick now, but could that have been done? Since Perry and Phillips are both draft riders? The the team could have been... 1. Steve Worrall 8.98 2. Victor Palovaara 5.49 3. Matej Kus 6.22 4. Ludvig Lindgren 7.37 5. Robert Lambert 8.30 6. Ashley Morris 4.37 7. Tom Perry 4.26 I don't know how good Tom Perry is around Brough but surely it would have been an upgrade of Phillips and that team looks waaay more than good enough to win the title LR (5.86) + DP (3.00) = 8.86 AM (4.37) + TP (4.26) = 8.63 So the numbers would have added up Again I'll repeat myself so no one gets grumpy I know Perry has now signed for Berwick, but would this have been possible? Edit: Peterborough brought in Holub at 7, saying that Perry was their draft rider, so we could say Perry was our draft rider, if that makes sense??
-
He shuts off early yeah, but he also starts his slide a lot earlier than quite a lot of other riders too, if you watch, far too early for him, maybe Robbo, but not Danny
-
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to remember him riding for Somerset in the past? Or was that Tom Perry I always get them two mixed up for some reason
-
Maybe he'll be in Newcastle kevlars Haha, Ashley and Connor at reserve, I like the sound of that Assuming it's the same rules (And assuming Connor is ok )
-
Haha, dammit, I always thought it was a z
-
Haha English is not my first language, I apologize I'd love to see Fredrik Lindgren or Jacob Thorsell riding for us next season, stupid Sunday night meetings and 6 point EL average limit thingy, plus I know none of these would ever happen because of averages and situations I just enjoy watching them
-
I would agree with the fact that Danny Phillips should have been replaced, but he hasn't now and he's what we've got until the end of the season, and I guess I am happy with that as long as Ashley Morris brings in some decent results, however I do not agree with a 6 man team, if we had another injury that would DEFIANTLY mean the end of the road for Newcastle Diamonds 2016, a 6 man team with Danny Phillips in it may as well be a 5 man team, no offence, and another injury could mean a 4 man team, I hope I'm not being too mean O.o He's 1 million times the rider I could ever be
-
I'm sure Connor Mountain may have been involved if he hadn't broken his back
-
I don't understand why everyone is freaking out? I think Ashley is a great reserve and has been for a very long time, I really look forward to seeing him around Brough Park, plus if we get Workington for example in the play offs, or Peterborough, he has the track experience at both tracks which is a bonus He started off the meeting the other week for Peterborough with 2, 2, 3 in his opening three rides and I don't think that's a coincidence He's a good quality rider and I think it's great how the promotion have made a signing so fast after Lewis' unfortunate fall I don't understand why people are debating why Lewis fell off, no one will know how it happened, just Lewis and his mechanic and a few other people in the pits, people from the crowd need to stop deciding what happened and saying things they're probably not 100% sure of. What is most important and unfortunate is that the incident has happened and poor Lewis has a serious injury and now need to spend the rest of this year (Or however long he needs to recover) recovering and then he can decide how his future lies then, I hope the operation goes well and that he stays strong and I'm sure from all of us at Newcastle Speedway, we wish him a very speedy recovery Good luck Lewis
