So... I'm too young and should stay away for another 60 odd years?
-
Either way, he's old
-
I'm so glad to hear it was a relatively minor injury compared to what I had feared when the ambulance came out Nasty looking crash and I'm glad he's ok Maybe a little sore in the head
-
More importantly than whining about things that happened months ago, did we ever find out what the extent of Matej's injuries were after his crash last week?

Who Do People Want To Win The Play-offs?
Dandelion replied to SomersetBlue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I didn't realize Somerset were using guests too, my bad, but still, it's getting pretty stupid now -
You think he'll be at Glasgow? O.o Who's "he"
-
I would rather Morris too but the top 5 I was thinking about would only allow a 3 pointer and like 3.8ish left for the other reserve is all 1. Steve Worrall 8.51/Robert Lambert 8.54 (If he doesn't move on) 2. Lewis Rose 5.86 3. Kyle Newman 6.31 4. Ludvig Lindgren © 7.65 (Or Matej at 3 and Newman at 4 if for some unlikely reason Ludvig wants to move on, hopefully not) 5. Rene Bach 7.32 6. Arthur Sissis 3.79 7. Connor Mountain 3.00 As I say, all it's missing is Morris, he's someone who has really impressed me and I would like to see him back if possible Jake Knight, no thank you Although Jake > Phillips

Who Do People Want To Win The Play-offs?
Dandelion replied to SomersetBlue's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I don't think Somerset are necessarily disliked, I just think everyone wants the underdogs to win Personally I want Somerset to win, because Paul Starke rides for them and I don't want half of Sheffield and a load of guests to win, have nothing for or against either team, I just hope all 12/13/14 however many riders start the meeting finish the meeting, good luck to both teams and all riders involved -
With Plymouth or Peterborough? Because from what I heard, Plymouth called him while he was travelling to a meeting to tell him to turn around, although I may be mistaken If there was one big league would the PL improve slightly then, to get to EL standard now? Would Doyle come to Brough with Swindon? Or would we see riders like Doyle and Zagar disappearing? What would people think about Sissis coming to Newcastle/How realistic is that?
-
Was Ashley Morris one of them? Plymouth already screwed him over last year I knew they'd done that at some point, but I didn't know it was the Newcastle match Oh no
-
What happened? o.o
-
So when is the BSPA thing?
-
I've always liked the thought of Howarth in our team, don't really like them 7 though Good idea, but too weak imo
-
How old is Dan Bewley? Just out of curiosity
-
I did not realize that Ludvig was possibly using them engines on Sunday I hope the new faces in the crowd this year stay next year, the only way to do that is to make another strongand exciting team
-
Will there be new averages at the end of this month? Or are the ones on the Speedway GB website the final averages? Be interesting to see if anyone drops or goes up Do you think Freddie might let Ludvig have one of them new fancy engines next year? ^_^ Maybe that might make Ludvig more than a 7.65 rider
-
No no no, I'm not comparing the two from an ability point of view necessarily, Lambert is by far a better rider and prospect compared to Kyle, but point scoring wise AND reliability wise (Meaning that he won't miss as many meetings due to EL commitments) And also the fact that his average is 2.5 points lower than Robert I think that Kyle is not far away from as good as an OPTION for the team as Lambert, I dunno if that makes sense? I do agree with you both when you say that Lambert is a superior rider, ability wise and I'm sorry if I made it sound any different Edit: The only reason I compared the two in the first place is that Kyle would be kinda the replacement for Robert in that team I just threw out there The same goes for Kerr and Kus comparison, I think that Kus is a better rider, but all of the above applies, apart from the EL commitment part
-
Final 'attempt' before the final averages 1. Steve Worrall 8.51 2. Lewis Rose 5.86 3. Lewis Kerr 6.16 4. Ludvig Lindgren 7.65 5. Kyle Newman 6.31 6. Ashley Morris 4.83 7. Connor Mountain 3.00 Just as strong as this year's team I think, where we miss out on Lambert here, we make up with a decent number 7, plus I don't think Kyle Newman is a million miles away from Lambert anyway, same goes for Kerr with Kus (On a side note, does anyone have an update of Kus after his fall last night? I hope he's ok) Also last night just makes me want to see Rene in the team even more, not only was he fun to watch, did anyone notice how he was the first one out helping Glasgow AND Newcastle riders after their falls, top man Rene Great person, great rider
-
I know, and that applies to the last part of my comment "or if you don't feel right in the situation you're in, you SHOULD quit" I have no problem with any riders quitting at anytime tbh, it's their life on the line at the end of the day, literally And whether that's because they feel unsafe, or they're not getting the money, it's the same thing, we all need to make a living somehow How true is this comment? I never knew Rye House were going to be backed, them people should take over the league and look after all the teams Bring back Plymouth and other teams that have gone bust throughout the years, we need big people to take an interest in out unique sport
-
Well getting dropped isn't necessarily his fault, I'm sure he doesn't WANT to be injured, and lets just hope no riders get injured, and speedway's a sport that if you don't feel right doing, or if you don't feel right in the situation you're in, you SHOULD quit
-
Nahhh Rather watch him for somebody else, as much as I like him
-
1. Edward Kennett 9.27 2. Rob Branford 4.60 3. Charlie Gjedde 9.22 4. Kasper Lykke Nielsen 5.16 or Cameron Heeps 5.07 5. Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen 6.98 6. Ben Morley 3.85 7. 3.00 lol, this is an awful team but I just want to see Gjedde back in the uk

That's a big risk, only taken just before a very successful spell or a spell that's going to end that club's life, one or the two
