Are you suggesting that Ben Barker might be at Brough next year? I know he was close to being there last year Agree with your first point And it will happen, just not for a few years yet, Rose will come on, maybe he'll reach 8 point territory, not 9
-
For sure his average will be upped, I think probably 7ish maybe a little over 7 Would Lambert get a 2.5% reduction still, not that I think he'll ride in the PL next year but he's been mentioned a lot 1. Robert Lambert 8.70 2. Ashley Morris 4.98 3. Lewis Rose 6.12 4. Ludvig Lindgren © 7.69 5. Steve Worrall 8.47 6. 2.04 left, Jake Knight, Ellis Perks? 7. Danny Phillips 2.00 What about Dan Greenwood on a 2?
-
Maybe not next year yet, but prove me wrong These three won't ride for Newcastle imo, I don't even know if Proctor would be allowed in the uk?
-
Summers to Glasgow 8.57 average according to the SGB website
-
They're just the averages for last year, anyone on a 3.00 average (Phillips and Greaves for example) as long as they've never had over a 3 point average in the past will go down to a 2 point average next year, or so I believe
-
Use the Speedway GB website? It at least takes you to the end of September
-
Huh?
-
Part of development is learning to team ride, setups and just experience of older riders in the pits, but that's just my opinion There would be no point setting up an old timers league to avoid this because then that takes away the older riders being in the pits in the National League giving them no opportunity to help the younger riders on and off the track???

Damn Really? I never knew that one either, I knew he'd left Redcar but didn't realize that he'd retired Forgot that Knight rode for Sheffield in 2013, never got above a 3 though so should be a 2 pointer Also I thought that the 2 pointers only went by last years averages of people who failed to get a 3? He'd have been a gamble, but gambles sometimes pay off and we had nothing to lose with Phillips, no offence, but now I think Phillips would be good value on a 2 point average because he has a years experience and SHOULD be at least above a 2 point average come the end of next season Dunno if it's just me but the types of riders like Branford, Clegg, Smith and JPB are really unrealistic 2012 season was pretty successful with Nedermark and Robson at 1 and 5, not exactly very strong With the final averages coming out my first impressions would be 1. Steve Worrall 8.47 2. Lewis Rose 6.12 3. Lewis Kerr 5.98 4. Ludvig Lindgren 7.69 5. Rene Bach 7.53 6. Jake Knight 2.00/Tom Stokes 2.00/Ellis Perks 2.00 7. Danny Phillips 2.00 Weak reserves but I think that it's the whole idea of the Championship, to bring in new, young British reserves
-
Perks would be a 2, not sure about Knight, swap Kus for Ludvig though imo, or Wells for Ludvig at least
-
Names o.o Or is that not allowed? XD I think I know who
-
Glad someone sees it from my perspective and I got my words across well
-
Maybe they did but Sheffield was more tempting
-
He has? What a great shame, any reason? I hope Simon Nielsen will come back, with Danny Phillips at reserve, it's funny that as soon as there's a rule change Phillips is wanted by a lot who didn't want him earlier in the season, me included Also, another rider I had in the back of my mind, Lasse Bjerre, has just been snapped up by the Tigers so there's him out of the equation, would Proctor be allowed to ride in this country next year?
-
They aren't the final averages I don't think, so maybe he's changed, by 0.01 Great signing by Sheffield, kinda disappointed as I hoped he MIGHT be in consideration at Newcastle, especially on that average
-
Didn't catch that one, thanks

I see your point, but there are positives and negatives for the oldies riding in the team, why would they want to give up riding anyway? They're making a living, they wouldn't say to a doctor, "we're focusing on junior doctors now, you're fired" to someone who has been a doctor for many years, and lets face it the likes of Jon Armstrong and Tony Atkin have been a great servant to the sport and have entertained many people throughout the years, so why should they be left out? There's plenty of space for young riders and old riders if they still have the one rider over 30 per team rule? Do they still have that? They shouldn't be left out, it wouldn't seem fair to me I don't know what you work as, but would you give up your role at your job just to let a younger person have it? Nah, you need to make a living and so do the oldies of speedway, I know they could make a living as a coach, but maybe they don't want that yet
-
It's not that bad Why would he have to start on a 4? Why would Aarnio get a reduction? He wouldn't
-
Would it not be good for the "young'uns" to have an older rider in the team? To help them with setups, experience and different riding techniques, afterall these "young'uns" are still learning A LOT, especially the likes of Jamie Halder and Kean Dicken who have barely been on a 500 for a year yet
-
I was correct about something is a shock, but two things at once? 1. Ludvig Lindgren 7.65 2. Victor Palovaara 5.80 3. Lewis Rose 5.86 4. Lewis Kerr 6.16/Kyle Newman 6.31 5. Rene Bach 7.32 6. Ashley Morris 4.83 7. Danny Phillips 2.00/Connor Mountain 2.00 I really don't know if I like this team or not, thoughts?
-
Me too, same goes for Lakeside Can the Championship league still change? For example if Birmingham wanted to move up to the Championship (Just using this as a loose example) would they be allowed? Or because the AGM happened they wouldn't be allowed? How does that work?
-
Why don't they do all the leagues at the same AGM? Is that too logical or is there a reason? Also I've heard that the Colts will be running next year
-
I'm assuming Workington own him? Maybe they do, but who brought him over first? I'm saying that... But it was Peterborough, if I remember right
-
That sounds great I'd love Rene back
-
True, although Nielsen's, Newman's and the number 7's averages will be the same Just saying that's about what I want to see I don't know when they come out
