  1. Don't think Lindgren would go, and I really don't want him to And as much as I like Morris, and how much he's impressed me so far, 2 of either Carr, Morley or Ayres for Morris and Phillips would be a good option in my opinion I was kinda hoping at the beginning fo the year that Payne would sign for us anyway, quite like watching him, so I'd like that also 1. Robert Lambert 2. Liam Carr 3. Lewis Rose 4. Ludvig Lindgren 5. Steve Worrall 6. Lee Payne/Danny Ayres/Morley 7. Connor Coles Or maybe when the new averages come out Morris can stay at number 2? Wonder if his and Danny's average will go up high enough to swap Phillips and Morris for Ayres and Jacobs? I dunno, they'd both (Morris and Danny) would have to have reached over 9.06 combined... Which doesn't look likely
  2. Didn't even think that Nathan would sign for Ipswich since he rode for the Isle of Wight... I see, I can definitely see that happening, but I, as well as many others, don't want to see the top 5 changed... But sometimes you need to make sacrifices...
  3. I've had many thoughts..... Which one? xD Ehhh, kinda agree, kinda disagree, just couldn't think of another 5-6 point rider other than Jacobs Well..... That's Nathan Greaves out the window..... Well done Ipswich
  4. Can't see us getting much from this, hopefully a point? Robert is an ex Panther as well Engine Failure..........
  5. Ahhh, thanks very much, be interesting to see if George waits until after the averages come out to do a team change... Nothing to lose I guess as Danny will be 2.00 either way I would imagine
  6. Yup, I agree, wouldn't really want Boxall in the team, I'm just more curious to what his CL average would be... I dunno when the new averages come out, but if we move before the new averages come out I am just suggesting what I'd do, good job I'm not the promoter Eyy... I really wouldn't want to change the rest of the team either, but with weak reserves getting weaker now we've lost Danny, what choice do we have if we don't want to keep watching 5-1s all the time against them (no disrespect) Maybe I AM mad And yes, it'd be a HUGE loss, but I want to see strength in depth, personally, just my opinion, Ludvig struggled to make the step up to 2nd heat leader in a league stronger than it is now and he's been going good this year, home AND away, and Lewis is already our third heat leader... I was just throwing a suggestion out there James Shanes probably would ride for Ipswich and has Grasstrack commitments on a weekend so I believe, I think that's why he's a guest replacement for Ipswich, so that they can use other people on a weekend? I dunno... Tom Brennan is only 15 as well so I believe? If we were going to do something like that we might as well go for Kyle Bickley considering he's from up north, but I think he's too young too Does Robert Mear still ride? He doesn't have a team either... And a 5.11 average, which seems quite a bargain
  7. Awful Awful news Get well soon Danny, please have a speedy recovery as you were stepping up big time in my opinion As a replacement, will Nathan Greaves get his 2.32 average from last year reduced? And if so, would it fit below the 2.19 we'd have left if Danny was out of the team... Other options I'd like to see would be Dan Halsey, Darryl Ritchings, Dan Greenwood, Ben Wilson, Luke Bowen (Although I have a feeling the two before has old, high averages), Georgie Wood or Henry Atkins (Assuming he's old enough, not 100% sure) Ryan Burton (Since he does a lot of 2nd halves) But there ARE options there, please don't use guests I don't think Josh Embleton would be good enough/be able to afford to travel to all these places as often as they are expected to Also, not a suggestion, but what average would Steve Boxall come in on? Gonna be really controversial here, all I'm gonna say is that it would sort out our reserve problem straight away and it would let Robert focus elsewhere with his EXTREMELY busy schedule, 2 teams in England, 1 in Sweden, 1 in Germany AND Poland..... Very busy boy, maybe on Sunday's too, he's already said Germany comes before England... 1. Steve Worrall 8.47 2. Nicolai Klindt/Joe Jacobs/someone else? (5.59) 3. Lewis Rose 5.97 4. Tero Aarnio 5.30 5. Ludvig Lindgren 7.69 6. Ashley Morris 4.98 7. Connor Coles 2.00
  8. 1. Nick Morris 2. Jye Etheridge 3. Kevin Doolan 4. Liam Carr 5. Nick Morris 6. Danny Gappmaier 7. Lee Payne Longest tail I have ever seen in speedway..... Hopefully they make another change later when the new averages come out...
  9. I thought riders had the same Premiership average as their Championship average? e.g. Danny King 9.57 in both leagues... Why isn't Howe the same? Can someone explain?
  10. Phillips has impressed me so far this season (I've only been to the home meetings though) I understand, we're still weak at reserve, but Danny so far, has done well in my eyes, and I'm sure Connor will soon fallow
  11. Really hope Josh Bates is ok and hasn't injured himself, made the best effort I have ever seen to get off the track just to collapse in a pile... And that was when we were on a 5-1, he could have stayed down, but he didn't Also all I want to say is WELL DONE DANNY PHILLIPS!! And good effort from Connor, never gives up and has a nice style, once he gets dialed in at Brough, he could be a good reserve Track wasn't at it's best yesterday, although I can't say anything because I'm not the tractor man...
  12. In addition to my previous question, do the points a rider gets as a guest for a team count towards his average?
  13. I would have thought Freddie's, Jacob's and Sam's averages will all drop a little too, so you never know
  14. Bring Proctor in on a temporary contract until the new averages come in and then bring in Ricky Wells/Ludvig Lindgren and another (Or keep Proctor if the averages fit) and replace one of the reserves, so the team would be 1. Fredrik Lindgren 2. Kyle Howarth/Ludvig Lindgren 3. Ricky Wells/Kyle Howarth 4. Jacob Thorsell 5. Sam Masters 6. Ty Proctor 7. Nathan Greaves/Max Clegg With a bit of luck, these averages would fit one the new averages come out Or wait until the Polish season has finished and bring Tai over... Again
  15. Thanks for the answer I know this, I was just wondering if they counted last year But thanks for the other information
  16. Didn't really know where else to ask this, and I didn't feel it was worthy of starting a whole new thread, but do points in the league cup count towards averages? Also do bonus points count towards averages too?
  17. I'm sure the Devon team are still called Plymouth Plymouth Demons, Exeter Falcons, Iwade Crusaders, Kent Kestrels, Reading Racers and Weymouth Wildcats
  18. I didn't know cousins still rode? What I want to know is who is likely to be riding for Exeter and Iwade
  19. It'll be Davies, Lyager, Zdenek or Howe probably Would like to see Jacobs or Stefan though personally or if he can be squeezed in if the averages drop that badly, Bellego Would also love to see Aarnio get a place, being a Newcastle fan and all
  20. Was just about to say the same myself, I am not a huge fan and have talked down Danny quite a bit myself, but I was very impressed with heat 2 and heat 8 from him yesterday, more like that please Danny Connor was looking good yesterday in that race, before he came off, I havea feeling once he gets used to our track, he could be a great rider 4/5 points a meeting maybe later on down the line? And if Danny can do the same, or similar, I'll have no problems with that, if you include our top 5 strength, of which I can't fault any of them Wish Robert would go full tilt for all the race too, he could be hugely quick then and win by more than half a lap Great rides last night, although a bit of help from Steve in Heat 13 after he slowed up to let Robert take his maximum as Steve had already lost his by then Lewis and Ludvig were perfect last night, I know they struggled in Heat 15, but you still can't fault them, Lewis made many great passes all night and he could play a huge role in our team this season 6 of our riders out performed what is expected of them last night and that's great to see, young Connor will improve each and every week, i'm sure and you certainly can't fault his effort at all, good luck for the rest of 2017 and I hope we finish the season with the same riders as we started However I could be saying different to this, come next Monday night... xD He'd be stronger than Liam, Ryan and Danny for sure, and possibly Dimitri sometimes, but it's all down to averages... Was very impressed with Lewis Bridger as this was the first time I'd ever seen him ride, I thought he did well and deserved more points than he got, great style and rides Brough Park very well
  21. My question is, where is the best place to find news for the NJL. MDL and SDL, is there a website? None that I can see, I would like to know what the squads and results are going to be
