He got dropped by Isle of Wight the other week when Portwood came in, so however many meetings IOW have done, plus probably a few practices, maybe in the SDL/MDL too? I dunno about that one...

Ashley shouldn't be a heat leader... Maybe with the amount of time he's been riding, you could argue that, but he just doesn't have the ability to be a heat leader... I can't say anything for Tom, barely see him ride, but I imagine his story must be similar... Maybe they've reached their peak or maybe they're just slow growers, but that doesn't matter, not EVERYONE can be world champion, we need reserves, we need second strings and we need heat leaders

What people seem to forget... Is Robert's wasted day/money/fuel is part of his job... It's how he makes his money and his life... So when he complains... It's because he's lost out on a day's pay... Not because he doesn't get to ride/watch a speedway meeting... Is £60 for 800 miles good like? I dunno

Thanks for the information Never knew the 2012 bit... Is that a new rule? Or what stopped Richard Hall riding last year? Either way, I'm just glad to see Roynon get a team place... Always been one of my favourite speedway riders... All his injuries and bad luck and he's still going... Hats off How many meetings did Adam do in 2012? Was it enough for a 'proper average'? I dunno

That's a very strong post lol... I don't think we've been pathetic or a waste of time... We're just not one of the top teams this year... I agree our reserves have struggled a lot... But that's the only way we could have both Robert AND Steve in the same team... I think Ludvig and Ashley have done their job... Even if Ashley should still be a reserve and Lewis was coming on great before his injury Hopefully Robson can come in and fill the gap (Which I'm 99.99999% sure he will...) As well as this, Ben Hopwood has shown glimpses of goodness this year and if his average somehow drops below 2.00... He'd make a good number 7 for next year...

Not in my opinion, although I've only ever seen Tyler ride when he rode for the Stags that year (whatever year it was) so he was in a weak team, probably in a daft team position... I have seen Shelby ride quite a lot at Buxton and think he looks good HOWEVER it is still nice to see British BORN riders riding in the NL... Speaking of which... Why didn't they go in for this Matt Marson kid who's been kicking on lately? I don't know too much about him... Just that he's Aussie born )

I am aware of that, I'm not having a go at you, it's "Workyboy" I'm having a go at I'm willing to bet, at least once in your entire time you've been to speedway meetings that you've moaned about something You've got to remember, racing is Robert's livelihood, it's your hobby... Attending meetings... Yep, I said IF he ever did... And who knows, can you tell the future? Where does his career lay? There's many, many years ahead for him... He's certainly Britain's biggest future hope... I cheer on anyone who has the courage to race speedway However... I cheer on the Scandinavians the most... Where does he say "balls to" anyone? He's complaining that he's made the long trip... As are many of the fans who have also made the long trip... It's understandable that anyone would have a good moan at the time... I'm sure you've been in the same situation before... I wonder if people will still be calling him an 'ungrateful little tw*t' if he ever does make it to the GP's for Britain... The future of your country's speedway, and you spend your entire time insulting him... Heck, I'm not even British and I can see how much talent the kid has... He's going to be a great great rider... Yep, the unfortunate nature, some teams have a lucky run, some teams have an unlucky run... And then there's Roynon..... Anyway, I would fancy Workington to be close come the end of the season... They have a lot of meetings in hand and they are on form atm...
