Maybe he'll help the kids with his knowledge and experience, imo each NL team should have at least one of them, as like a captain figure... Helps with set ups and riding techniques... And he might even teach them a thing or two about kicking people while they're down Not a huge fan of Hall personally, but I'm glad he's got a team place and I'm glad the NL allows riders like him into the league... (on proper averages I must add)
-
Well, it was a joke... But even if I meant what I said... He could purposely 'struggle' to lower his average for next year... It's a smart thing to do for personal gain (makes sure he gets a team place), but a dumb thing to do for the sport...
-
You've go to remember, the excitement of watching your riders pass slow Newcastle riders will have the opposite effect on Newcastle fans who want to see their team win... Just making a point, I didn't go, so I don't know what the racing was like Newcastle fans are going through that point in the season now where they're realizing that we're not going to make it too (even the optimistic ones)... The sucky part...
-
So he can drop his average even more for next year?
-
Thinking ahead for next year (just as a bit of fun) Kenny Wennestram? He seems to be keen on a British team place.. I think he'd tear up the league, and Ludvig seems to enjoy having another Swede in the team (like when we had Rosen) They seemed to get on and there was a little friendly rivalry there, which is good for a team to have And I'm sure, whether people like it or not, captain Lightening will be back next year, he seems to be here to stay Kenny Bjerre Kenny Larsen Kenny Wennestram? I'm not going to say who I'd want out, as that would be a little disrespectful since the season is no where near over... But I can say who I'd like in

Allen's converted average would come to 6.08 (if his PL average is 5.07) So he'd fit nicely... I doubt it will be Stefan if Rob says it's someone you might not expect... It'll be slightly less predictable than Stefan The only other riders who immediately spring to mind for me is Emil Grondal, Zdenek Holub (if he fits not sure of his average atm) or Anders Mellgren to make a return It'd be ironic if it was Rohan considering what the Scunthorpe fans thought of him last year...
-
Another familiar face for Scunthorpe... I kinda hope it's Jake Allen... I haven't done the maths but I'd be surprised if his average doesn't fit...
-
It's called the fours because there are four riders from each team, not because there are 5 riders in a race or five teams in a group... You don't seem two man races in the pairs... Or single man race in the rider's championships!!

I'm based in the north east (also I have family in Devon and in Somerset, so I'm not always in the North East), but I was in Somerset since Monday, so i HAVE been in or near to the area, and sorry for any confusions I may have caused by posting that but I read it somewhere that it was actually cancelled, I just can't remember where, I was actually going to go to this meeting, but I didn't, because I thought it was off... Edit: My girlfriend reminded me that we saw it posted on Twitter that Poole was off, so we decided to come home instead of stay down south for the Poole meeting, I've never been there and would love to give it a try, it's one of the last tracks I've not visited in the UK -

It's off isn't it? Like, 2 hours ago -
Kevin is a good and experienced rider and all I've ever seen of him he gives 110%, he'd be Scunthorpe's number 1, by a mile and I think he'd do well at home, but more importantly, away too...
-
Adam Ellis, Anders Thomsen or Kevin Wolbert? Think they would do decent jobs
-
I agree, maybe he COULD be Scunthorpe's number 1, maybe by this time next year if they stuck with the same riders and he rode well... But Stefan wouldn't be a good number 1 rider, with all due respect to him, he'd barely make a 7 point average if he rode well from now on for at least a year I'd say...
-
Stefan Nielsen at number 1? The hell you even saying? I like Stefan... But just no, unless he's challenging for number 1 next year in the NL? lol

They need to make the PL a lot stronger with bigger names if they want crowds to come back...

I assume this will be in the SDL? Good luck to Bristol, maybe at Swindon's new stadium?
