My favourite Newcaste team was 2013..... ._. You can tell the age difference here xD I wasn't even anywhere near a thought in 1982.....
-
I didn't mean you HATED him, I dunno, I guess it's just a term of phrase I use, I'm sure he's a nice person and stuff, and people can have whatever view of him they want, it's just I rate him so highly, I struggle to see why people rate him so lowly I think so too, on a 8.26 average, bargain
-
I agree, but for now, I'm staying positive that we are running as normal next year, until I hear otherwise, it's all we can do at the minute Thought so Still don't understand the hate, he's entertaining to watch sometimes, but I guess we'll never agree Would have thought at least one would be back, but I'm sure they've brought in just as good replacements, Harris on 8.26 looks nice...
-
I do want to say Ludvig instead of Robson, but I think people will get mad
-
Maybe it's a little weak at the beginning, but I think Mountain and Bowtell would improve a hell of a lot over the course of the season, and I think the 1-5 makes up for it... I agree with Summers, but he's still a very good heat leader imo, so to have him at 4 would be great, also I think Glasgow need to get rid of one of their top 3, and I have a feeling Summers or Lawson will be one of them, (Lawson to Lakeside), so maybe Richie would be very difficult to get hold of, And it is unfortunate about Lewis not finishing a season yet, but surely that's not down to him, he's just been really unfortunate, he's a very good rider and did awesome at number 3 last year before his unfortunate injury How about Rene instead of Summers and Robbo instead of Rose then? 1. Steve Worrall 9.02 2. Ashley Morris 4.72 3. Stuart Robson 7.20 4. Rene Bach 7.53 5. Richie Worrall 8.58 6. Connor Mountain 3.33 7. Alfie Bowtell 2.03 Total : 42.41
-
What about... 1. Steve Worrall 9.02/Scott Nicholls 9.21 2. Ashley Morris 4.72 3. Lewis Rose 6.49 4. Aaron Summers 8.00 5. Richie Worrall 8.58 6. Connor Mountain 3.33 7. Alfie Bowtell 2.03 Total 42.17/42.36 I'm assuming that the limit will be 42.50, as it should be... Agree with that
-
Yeah If you agree, it must be the case... Wish he'd stay tbh I hope lots of changes are made, not because I want to see them, but because it's exciting, maybe a new to this country Dane? Patrick Hansen perhaps?
-
Could say the same about you But even you've got to admit, Ludvig partnered with Lewis and Matej the past few years has brought some entertaining races Just had a very busy few months, travelling with family and university, nice to be back True true, didn't really think of that, I don't think I'd be able to make it most Mondays Hopefully fixed race nights is just for Premiership and we can stay on a Sunday? Imo, Lewis Kerr is the weakest out of Ludvig, him and Robson, and to be on a similar average, no thank you, but then again, I've only seen him at Brough the last time he rode for us there, a few years ago, maybe he's come on A LOT since then. Anyway, I don't see Lewis Kerr at Newcastle next year, or Ludvig
-
I wouldn't be against Matej Kus returning at all, if he can be fitted into the 3/4 with Ludvig again, that would be awesome
-
Pretty difficult, but fun But if we run Monday, would that matter? You mean come March when the fixtures still haven't been announced? He's said he'd rather be at Newcastle, but how much of that was because he was getting interviewed in front of the Newcastle fans?
-
Ellis' average would be much higher than that would it not? It would be in the 7s
-
If we need a big top end rider, with Steve in Poland, how about the return of Kenneth Bjerre? If I'm correct, he'd only be on a 8.22 average. As pointed out above, the limit should be 42.50... Partly because it needs to be, to make the league actually interesting again, and partly so we can have this team It'd be so good, probably win most things, but how likely would it be? Not very is my guess 1. Kenneth Bjerre 8.22 2. Lewis Rose 6.49 3. Kyle Newman 6.10 4. Ludvig Lindgren © 6.94 5. Aaron Summers 8.00 6. Ashley Morris 4.72 7. Alfie Bowtell 2.03 Total : 42.50 Another rider I'm a fan of that I'd like to see at our level (not necessarily with Newcastle) is Kai Huckenbeck

He said the other week he'd rather be at Newcastle than Lakeside, but how much truth is in that and how much was it that he was just in front of all the Newcastle fans? lol IF we do run next year, and IF he's still riding, we've got to get Scotty Nicholls into the team, watching him last week was amazing, considering he's only ridden Brough 3 or 4 times before, if he rides it every week, he could be amazing!! Maybe that was like a trial to see how he'd do for next year Heard rumours we tried to sign him for this year (2017)... Anyhow... My team would look something like this... 1. Steve Worrall 9.02/Scott Nicholls (Avg???) 2. Ashley Morris 4.72/Theo Pijper 4.23 3. Lewis Rose 6.49 4. Ludvig Lindgren © 6.94 5. Rene Bach 7.53/Jason Garrity 7.32/Lewis Bridger 6.59 (if he's riding)/Paul Starke/Lewis Kerr/Kenneth Hansen 6. Connor Mountain 3.33 7. Alfie Bowtell 2.03 I think 6 of the places I'm sure about, not so sure about that last spot though (number 5), not many options 40.86???

Championship Rider Final 24/09
Dandelion replied to SCB's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
I don't think he's 'planned' Any of he previous injuries... Considering how many knocks he was carrying, I'm not surprised when he missed the Fours... He'd fallen so many times in the weeks leading up, and riding pretty much every night in lots of different countries, he was probably beyond knackered and that's dangerous in speedway... He had a broken wrist and still represented team GB in the World Cup... I am just confused as to why he's not in this meeting -

So why isn't Robert Lambert in the line up? Sorry if it's an obvious answer, but I really don't know???? -

Well, I wasn't even born then xD Not even a thought then either... It would be nice to be able to see it, if the race is as good as yous say Ludvig has ridden extremely well over the past few weeks -

What a load of cr*p this is... R/R is much weaker than Robert is... Fair enough, Steve is probably level with Robert, maybe a little better, but no offence, Stuart, Ludvig and Ashley aren't on the same level as Robert... -

Can everyone stop moaning and take a second to congratulate Steve and Ludvig on the best last heat decider I have ever seen... -

So, is Josh riding or not now? Good luck to him if he is... -
I heard Kerr did something at Brough last night??? I heard it wasn't purposely... It was just an accident, what happened? Hopefully some people will praise Ludvig on the forum tonight? Probably unlikely though, they'd just talk crap about him when he struggles... Alfie has been brilliant, hopefully we can get him on a 2.00 average

Newcastle Vs Scunthorpe (sgbc) 27/08/2017
Dandelion replied to ellioth4's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Probably just think he's moving on? I'd keep Steve and Ludvig at least if they wanted to stay, and hopefully Robbo too He started as a second string Number 4 And has been all year, I think it was expected that Rose kicked on and became the third heat leader, which he might have done had he not been injured... I'd rather be entertained that win 5-1 every heat... I bet even winning gets boring... Because Robson and Lindgren have been the best partnership we've had for a very long time (and I mean proper partnership, not Steve and Robet in Heat 13), they team ride so well with eachother and they're both on pretty low and bargain averages imo... We might not have won anything, but the whole team's success doesn't rely on two riders... It's the make up of the whole team that's important... Robson is pretty good most places he goes to... Most of the time, We do need a big shake up, but seeing some of the same riders would also be nice too, it's the reserves and no offence our number 2 that needs sorting out... Ashley isn't a number 2, Robson is always worth the admission fee... -

Yes, Lindgren isn't very consistent, I can see that, but when he's on form, to me, he is one of the best and most entertaining riders to watch out there, even the biggest Ludvig haters have got to see that, the fact his average has dropped so much just makes him look better for next year to me As to your comments about Glasgow, yes he got one point, but if his engine hadn't have blown in heat 14, he'd have got 4 (he was winning the race), which, yes, still isn't that impressive, but it's better... Ludvig isn't a heat leader anymore, more a second string... But that's ok because there are 2 second string positions in every team He's entertainment rather than progression... And you need a mix of both imo Lindgren, Robson, Steve and Alfie are the first names we need to secure for next year imo Then another couple of heat leaders or strong second strings (Kerr and Rose???) And whoever would fit in the last spot, all depends on what the limits are...
