  1. Which riders have started at the My first skid school? There's Jamie Sealey, Finn Peacey I assume, since he's from the IOW, who else might we see? My goal for 2018 is to see EVERY team who fields a team at least once, including all the development league teams, Good luck to all involved!!
  2. Good to see Ben Hopwood get signed up in the NL, whether he's with us or not next year, good luck in 2018, you gave us some entertaining heats and passes in 2017 and I think you're a little underrated
  3. How about Ashley Morris at 7 (So he keeps his favourite heat 8) And Joe Jacobs or Nathan Greaves at 6? Would be very strong at reserve then, on most tracks too Lewis Rose and Tero Aarnio MUST be considered too if available, as both have bargain averages, although I feel that Lewis might be expensive if he requires flights to Poland Danny Ayres, Ellis Perks, Adam Roynon, Theo Pijper and Matt Williamson might be nice at reserve too, and they can't be too expensive either Just throwing names out there
  4. Well, since the new stupid rule of foreigners being on 5.20 rather than 7.00 exists... PLEEAASSSSE may we have Patrick Hansen on a 5.20 at number 2? With Ashley and Alfie at reserve, Ludvig at 4, Captain Robson at 3 and Rene at 5, leaving SOMEONE on a 8.52 at number 1 Thanks Santa 1. Joe Bloggs 8.52 2. Patrick Hansen 5.20 Our new Kenni 3. Stuart Robson 7.02 4. Ludvig Lindgren 7.21 5. Rene Bach 7.53 Our new Rene 6. Ashley Morris 4.88 7. Alfie Bowtell 2.14 2.5% reduction Or maybe to keep people happy, Ludvig can be at 2 and Hansen at 4 Maybe Kyle Howarth and Danny Phillips instead of Alfie? Don't think Sheffield would be happy lol
  5. Just seen this now... Sounds good, would have thought I'd have heard of him considering how much I'm supposed to like Linus xD
  6. WHO THE HELL IS THIS PONTUS GAARD DUDE? I've never heard of him, not even Google or Twitter has... Although that's hardly surprising... Unless it's like a nickname Ostergaard has been given or something? Doesn't matter, I've just seen a post that Odsal left me weeks ago that I missed Pontus Gaard sounds good Maybe if him and Linus could come over I'd be dreaming lol
  7. Bloody hell, 5.20 is nothing for Joel, I've watched him in Sweden a few times and he'll make a joke of that average... Hope he comes in on a 7.00 like he should, and other Swedes have in the past
  8. Klindt is not a number 1, great rider, always tries hard 110%, would be a good captain, just not a number 1
  9. Wouldn't the riders championship, 4 from each team be exactly the same as the fours? And also the pairs would also be 4 from each team
  10. Wasn't aware Probably Hope not, Rene is my one hope of maybe having a decentish number 1 if he kicks on again Doubt Kus will be at Redcar, I can see him at Brough if we run And does he ride Sundays in Poland? Some says he will and some says he wont... In that case, Rene won't be back then as he's signed for Polish team hasn't he?
  11. Isn't he? I thought he just wasn't at Edinburgh, thanks for information, well just another rider around his average instead then... Oh wait, there isn't any left
  12. Wouldn't mind Wolverhampton's reserve pairing being ours too Although it'd be difficult to fit in, also, would Alfie get a 2.5% reduction? 1. Sam Masters 8.57 2. Tero Aarnio 5.02 3. Stuart Robson 7.02/Ty Proctor 7.15 4. Ludvig Lindgren 7.21 5. Rene Bach 7.53/Matej Kus 7.64 6. Ashley Morris 4.88/Nathan Greaves 4.51 7. Alfie Bowtell 2.14 Total: 42.37 I'm dreaming, thinking that Masters or Rene will be riding for us... I think Kus is more likely than Rene and it wouldn't be too bad, I would like to see Tero Back, but only if he's at 2 or 6, he was very entertaining to watch and a strong number 2... Always liked Robson, give him the captain's armband, and of course... The loveable and liked by all Ludvig Lindgren, he did well at 4 last year imo and he would make a great partnership with either Robson/Bach/Kus at 3 and 4. And as stated on this thread, Ashley could well be the trump card at reserve, and he gives 110% EVER race from start to finish, another entertainer This might not be the strongest team in the league, but hell, it'd be VERY entertaining to watch, especially at home, strong all the way throughout and it'll be fun watching Alfie's progression throughout the year, I think we need to sign Alfie quick!! If Lakeside are over the limit, maybe they will drop Morley for Alfie
  13. Finish off with BWD and Joe Jacobs, that means either BWD or Jye along with Jacobs will always be at reserve 1. Aaron Summers 2. David Howe 3. Kevin Doolan 4. Bradley Wilson Dean 5. Nicolaj Busk Jacobsen 6. Jye Etheridge 7. Joe Jacobs Might not have the strongest top end, but all riders are very solid and could be main body riders imo Edit: Or would Gappmaier instead of BWD be better and more popular? ANOTHER edit: Just realized that Gappmaier instead of Jacobs fits with T.Kurtz as the other rider... Would be my preferred option
  14. She could be the picture on the page... Get the traffic for the website up... Of course
  15. It should be PL to CL converted and possibly minus the 2.5%, not 100% sure of that rule personally... That's how they worked out Shane's average, or is it make the rules up as you go?
  16. That's what I used The only thing I assume is that they think Zach Wajtknecht comes in on a 2.00, or the 2.53 he got for Somerset... And they or us have messed up the totals
  17. If my understanding is correct (Which it probably isn't) Lakeside's team doesn't fit??? 1. Nick Morris 8.72 2. Max Clegg 4.15 3. Adam Ellis 7.23 (Converted PL to CL average) 4. Kyle Newman 6.10 5. Richard Lawson 8.65 6. Ben Morley 3.85 7. Zach Wajtknecht 4.07 (Converted PL to CL average - 2.5% reduction, this is how Shane's average for Sheffield has been worked out) Total: 42.77 Someone tell me where I've gone wrong, because I'm sure it's me that's wrong and not the Lakeside promotion
  18. Howarth and Kurtz as the last two 1. Kyle Howarth 8.62 2. Todd Kurtz 5.23 3. Lasse Bjerre 8.32 4. Josh Bates 6.54 5. Charles Wright 7.47 6. James Shanes 3.74 7. Jack Smith 2.51 Total: 42.43 I guess the only real question is, will they go for Graversen on 5.27 instead of Kurtz? I'd personally would go for Ellis Perks
  19. As beautiful as it is... I'm getting tired of seeing Steve's face every time I log on to the Newcastle Diamonds website, ANNOUNCE ALFIE!! He's not on Lakeside's team
  20. Zach has ridden at this level with Somerset before How about James Shanes, Jack Thomas or Jordan Jenkins? If it's a rider that has never ridden at this level before
  21. Alfie won't fit I can see it being Ryan Kinsley, other than Kyle Bickley and Alex Spooner (Who's not ready) he's the only other rider in the Open class at Scunthorpe, although I see a lot more entering themselves now that they know a place is open for grabs
