  1. No!! I just accidentally quoted myself instead of editing my last post and couldn't figure out how to delete it!! So just went with nothing instead... That's generally what my posts consist of anyway
  2. I personally don't see why people are calling Matty and Simon reserves... Matty certainly is NOT... He's a 5 and a half point rider for god sakes!! And Simon, well it wasn't too long ago he was a 5.5 point rider!! I think he will do ok at number 2... As long as Max is at 7, heat 8 should be pretty strong Also I think Max will do a good job at reserve and Danny will pick up decent points at home and at Redcar... Time will tell, and although we've lost Victor and Nike (Two riders I was looking forward to watching the most) I think we are much stronger now with the best top 3 in the league... I've said it
  3. I still like the idea of Daniel Spiller, might surprise a lot of people imo... Improved A LOT since riding for Eastbourne and he is kinda British afterall... A British club should give him a try...
  4. So happy to see Steve Worrall back Where he should be, feel really sorry for Victor and I hope all the undeserved bad press the Diamonds have got is glossed over... Good luck Victor Palovaara for 219 Was looking forward to watching you greatly... Do they have a bit of history like? JBA wouldn't fit anyway... I think Mikkel B Andersen, Josh MacDonald Or here's a wildcard assuming he's available for Sundays... Daniel Spiller? Has ridden the very similar Eastourne track very well and it would leave future relations for his brother, Ethan, open... Food for thought? Presumably he'd come in on a 4.00 average? Since he's now a German but has had an average in British speedway before? Either of them three would make me happy and would all three be strong partners for Stevie imo Also... Josh Macdonald‏ @chunk259 Jan 16 More Devastating news about Workington speedway shutting down this year, sadly it’s left me without a spot for 2019, after some thinking and talking to afew close friends, I’ve decided to still fly over and collect my visa and spend some part of the season hoping for a opportunity.
  5. Hey, fair enough if you have insider information somehow, really hope it's not Nike though, he's one of my main attractions to next years team... Always wanted to see him regularly around Brough, as I've seen him a lot in Finland, and he would be interesting around the smaller bends
  6. Same was said for Rose last year, who knows... How do you know Lunna has stepped down too?
  7. As long as they release it to the public... Maybe some interesting scenes would happen
  8. What a great shame Victor has gone Not going to comment as I don't know the circumstances... All I can do is speculate the possible changes? Steve and Gino/Mikkel B in and Matty and Victor out maybe? Although I would love to see Tero back, interesting times ahead... Edit: Tero and Matej fit perfectly for Matty and Victor 1. Thomas Jorgensen 2. Nike Lunna 3. Lasse Bjerre 4. Matej Kus 5. Tero Aarnio 6. Danny Phillips 7. Max Clegg.
  9. Can you explain, please? When is this? Is that the thing on the 31st?
  10. Looking forward to whenever it is, interested to see how they shape up
  11. So, when are King's Lynn going to announce their last 5 riders? Or are they going with a pairs team
  12. Glasgow will replace Chessell eventually... Kyle Bickley and Joe Lawlor would be a better reserve pair for them anyway...
  13. Can someone confirm if I have got the averages for Eastbourne 2019 right? Thanks... 1 Richard Lawson 8.80 2 Alfie Bowtell 2.32 3 Lewis Kerr 7.13 4 Ben Morley 4.80 5 Edward Kennett 8.16 6 Georgie Wood 2.14 7 Tom Brennan 2.00 Total: 35.35 Left: 2.65?
  14. Says on Twitter that he'll be a second string...
  15. I'm just wondering, if he's a second string, whatever the average is, King's Lynn must be going pretty top heavy?
  16. Second signing confirmed by @KLSpeedway Does this mean that Kasper is going to be a second string? They must be going pretty top heavy then... But who?
  17. Didn't know he said that, as I say, I never really follow the PL, maybe I should stick to Newcastle Haha 1. Robert Lambert 8.90 (2.5% reduction?) 2. Erik Riss 6.08 3. Niels Kristian Iversen 7.38 4. Thomas Jorgensen 6.05 5. Ty Proctor 6.67 6. Mark Riss 4.17 7. 3.25 left (Wilko? - Weak but experienced, and personally disappointed not to see him with a team place)(Stefan Nielsen? - Not sure if he'd fit but he was impressive last season and could be solid at number 7) Or MPT instead of E.Riss and Summers instead of M.Riss and Nathan Greaves for number 7? 1. Robert Lambert 8.90 2. Michael Palm Toft 5.36 3. Niels Kristian Iversen 7.38 4. Thomas Jorgensen 6.05 5. Ty Proctor 6.67 6. Nathan Greaves 3.36 7. Aaron Summers 4.58 0.20 Left Just bored and guessing... But not bad teams if they're possible to put together
  18. Both fit, knew the reserves were poor in the first team, but thought it might be worth it to have the top 5 so strong, and I wasn't sure about 2.00ers in the PL as I don't follow too closely... MPT and Jack Smith at 6 and 7 would have been what I went for... Since there would have been no pressure on whoever the 2.00er was, But I didn't know 2.00ers weren't allowed... Oh well
  19. Has that rule been changed for PL? Didn't realise... Well in that case 1. Robert Lambert 2. Erik Riss 3. Niels Kristian Iversen 4. Thomas Jorgensen 5. Ty Proctor 6. Simon Lambert 3.00 7. Kasper Andersen 4.00
  20. King's Lynn Stars Robert Lambert Erik Riss Niels Kristian Iversen Thomas Jorgensen Ty Proctor Simon Lambert Kasper Andersen Or King's Lynn Stars Robert Lambert Erik Riss Niels Kristian Iversen Thomas Jorgensen Ty Proctor Michael Palm Toft 2.00 Brit?
  21. Fair enough, at least you have some pretty genuine reasons... Maybe some clubs should be looking into these types of things... Although you cannot please everyone... You spend your earned money how you wish, I would encourage you to keep an open mind however, and if things in the speedway world begin to improve (which imo they are with the new rules) please reconsider enjoying your trips to KL and maybe a few other tracks again 8pm is a bit late though, especially if there's work the next day, might put parents off bringing their kids too. Also, some things, like the flow of the meeting cannot be helped so much in my opinion, riders need a rest when competing in a sport as dangerous as speedway, I like the added couple of minutes if they have two rides in a row, it must get exhausting for a reserve who has to take 7 rides, lack of concentration and tiredness is critical in a sport like speedway, especially if they ride pretty much every day in three different countries, how do they do it? ... BUT, 8pm starts wont help this as it gets later and later?
