Forgot about Adam!! I did hear a few weeks back that he is returning? But he is another who HATES Brough... Says he's happy just to finish the meeting in one piece when he's there...
-
Hopefully th last rider is either a gem on a joke average, or it's not really the team and Kenneth Bjerre is announced on Tuesday ^_^ That's why he's dropping Belle Vue
-
You're right it's 5.26... Me head maths ain't the best ^_^ That means Max at reserve at least, good reserves, Max and Jacob
-
Yes, Vissing is a very good rider, don't get me wrong, but I wouldn't want him on a 8 and a half... Plus I don't like him (Just my opinion) Seems very hot headed and erratic, inconsistent and not really a number 1... Just my opinion though Oh, and he doesn't go round Brough very well either
-
So basically, if what you say is right, we're looking at something like... 1. Claus Vissing 8.43 DEN 2. Max Clegg 4.92 GBR 3. Ondrej Smetana 5.00 CZE 4. Matthew Wethers 6.92 AUS 5. Ludvig Lindgren 6.47 SWE 6. 4.26 7. Jacob Bukhave 4.00 DEN I'm guessing a former Potter, with the points left and who hasn't got another team, is Tom Perry? Or Ben Wilson if he still rides?
-
Good god that is not our team, is it? Lindgren, Wethers, Bukhave and Clegg, yes please... But no thanks to Vissing and Smetana, and a former Potter? Unless it's Connor Coles as a 2.00 reserve or Lee Complin coming out of retirement... I thought Berwick were destine for the wooden spoon... BUT, We should all just be grateful we have speedway at all I do know Smetana, and have seen him ride a few times before... Very good rider actually... But I don't see him taking to Brough very well, and if that's the team we've got surrounding him then god help us all...
-
As a neutral with a lot of respect for Kent and Dan, I completely agree, got to make my way down there this year
-
As long as we have Max, Matty and Ostergaard in the team and a BIG number 1... Like a 10 pointer or something... I will be excited for next season... I think the Diamonds have missed big number 1s for a while now... A Kenni type rider... Even when we had Steve and Robert they were beatable... I'm just looking forward to what's in store next Tuesday, is the whole team to be announced? Or have they not all been signed up yet? Any hints THJ? Once you've recovered... Would love to see Rene too... But cannot actually see it happening
-
Put it this way... He did alright against some big names in the GP qualifiers this year... He'll do a job in the Championship I'm sure and I can't wait to see my fellow Scandinavian ride Brough Park for the first time
-
Lasse rides in Sweden last year and I think he will shock a fair few people... Very talented young rider... Him and Glenn Moi have been the pride of Norway the last few years I know that doesn't mean a lot... But I am confident he will perform well next year... In a league like this... Kye I know very little about but I'm sure he'll do ok at 2, and at reserve when James increases his average... Still don't see the obsession with William Lawson, other than the fact he's Scottish riding for a Scottish team... Is he the same William Lawson that had an 8.00 average riding at number 1 once? What happened? I know he took a break... But still
-
Maybe he banked on: Chris Harris - But was nicked by Birmingham at the last minute Nick Morris - But was nicked by Leicester at the last minute Nico Covatti - But not doing uk? Would like to see Claus Vissing back in Rebels colours... Not sure if Glasgow will fit him in now? Does Claus Vissing, Stefan Nielsen and Nathan Stoneman fit as the last 3? If not one of the 4.00 Aussies from Sheffield last year instead of Stefan would definitely fit... And I'm sure Anders will hold his own at 2, or if not the 4.00 Aussie will soon overtake him I'm sure... Especially if Zaine Kennedy or Jedd List (VERY talented, just needed more time)
-
Finish with Tobiasz Musielak, Broc Nicol and James Shanes 1. Nicki Pedersen 2. Josh Grajczonek 3. Tobiasz Musielak 4. Kyle Howarth 5. Jack Holder 6. Broc Nicol 7. James Shanes
-
Did the rule of keeping the same side stand? I assume not... Because Swindon could be just slowly revealing last years 1-7 again Think regardless they will do good next year, with Doyle and Batch as the top 2, probably easily the best top 2 in the league (Saying that and I'm not particularly a fan of either)
-
Would he not be considered a new rider to the league? So come in on a 2.00 assessed average? Or is there different rules in the PL compared to CL? xD Is that converting his 4.73 (before 2.5% reduction) average from Leicester last year?
-
How about Brady Kurtz? A top 3 of Brady, Craig and Robert backed up by the likes of Erik and Lewis would be a decent top 5... Would leave a bit of room at reserve too... How about something like... Robert Lambert © 7.61 GBR Erik Riss 6.61 GER Craig Cook 7.59 GBR Richard Lawson 5.64 GBR Brady Kurtz 7.54 AUS Lewis Kerr 5.43 GBR Connor Mountain 2.00 GBR Total: 42.42 Not sure whether Connor is ready but can't think of any other 2.00ers that could do a decent job at King's Lynn? But considering he's born in King's Lynn, it would be a nice story... He's never ridden for them though? Not even in the NL... Richard Lawson has not been mention anywhere else? And Brady Kurtz would do well at King's Lynn imo and where else would he go if not King's Lynn? Don't want to lose him from British speedway... Robert and Craig are a must keep, but not as a partnership as they seem to take eachother off a lot!! And Erik is great, especially at number 2... Can't see Lewis Kerr being anywhere else, and to have him at reserve is where he's best... Nice British core to the team at the former international track...
-
Eh just saying that the signing of Jack, to me, is a bit of a let down after such a big announcement of Nicki... Even Josh Grajczonek and Kyle Howarth are good announcements... Hope Sheffield back Jack up with some excitement as I really want to see them do good in the PL next year... I was hoping Brady rather than Jack... Where will Brady go next year then? Or is it another lost rider for British speedway... Didn't realise Ty was like that... Thought he was a bit of a fan favourite, shame as he's on a bargain average
-
Should have announced Nicki after Jack... The announcement of a big number 1 to get over the disappointment of signing Jack... Hope Josh Bates gets signed up and Ty Proctor Not forgetting Broc Nicol too... Dunno if they fit as the last 3?

1. Jason Doyle 8.96 AUS 2. 4.00 AUS 3. Rasmus Jensen 7.86 DEN 4. Adam Ellis 6.33 GBR 5. Troy Batchelor 8.82 AUS 6. James Shanes 3.00 GBR 7. Ellis Perks 3.48 GBR Fill in the number 2 spot with Josh Pickering or Jordan Stewart and it's a pretty good team I wonder if Keynan Rew would do a job... Or maybe one of the young Aussies that rode for Sheffield last year? Lots of options and that tail isn't too bad... Especially of Jordan Stewart is the option... Great rider and I think many would be surprised how entertaining and solid he really is... As has been mentioned... Hopefully Rasmus' year last year wasn't just a one off purple patch... Or the promotion are screwed xD Can Anders Rowe come in on a 2.00? If so, swap him for Shanes and put Claus Vissing or Kristian Pieszczek at number 2? Might be a bit early of Anders, but it would be a nice challenge for him...

Cheers

1. Jason Doyle © 8.96 AUS 2. Adam Ellis 6.33 GBR 3. Tobiasz Musielak 6.21 POL 4. Nick Morris 5.38 AUS 5. Troy Batchelor 8.82 AUS 6. James Shanes 3.00 GBR 7. Ellis Perks 3.48 GBR Wouldn't be a bad team... Tad weak at reserve but I'm sure Ellis Perks will impress again... Top 5 easily the best in the league again I'm sure... Shame no space for Rasmus as he had an awesome season last season... If Nick Morris goes elsewhere maybe Steve Worrall or Richard Lawson instead? Don't seem to be booked up anywhere else yet?
-
Thanks to everyone for their responses... Most useful Would like to get to a few new tracks again next year like I did this year (Poole, Birmingham, Sheffield and King's Lynn) Very impressed with Poole tbh
-
What average will Rob Ledwith be on? 2.00? Or 3.00? Dunno if he's achieved a higher average in the 2nd tier before, or even when he last rode in the second tier and whether that average will still count?
-
What nights will all the teams be racing on next year? Still Monday and Thursday?

Wish he'd sign for Newcastle... Imagine he's pretty expensive though
