You say that like you know who he is? Will he be one of the riders announced next week? Is it Claus Vissing??? So many questions... Does Pontus Aspegren ride in Poland? I assume he does... And I know Mikkel Bech does... But it's only the second tier is it not? (Not Sundays) He'd be a ridiculously good shock signing... He reckons he's signed for British club, but hasn't been announced for anyone yet... Certainly wouldn't expect him for us... But the promotion have said we'd not expect one signing... Hmmm... Same could be said for Mikkel Michelsen and Anders Thomsen... Whoever it is I hope it's an exciting, BIG number 1 who will draw crowds in all by himself... Someone new to cheer on... Someone obscure who will tear up the CL, from Latvia or something...

Where has Pavlic's name randomly come from? Was something mentioned at some point that I missed? It seems like a completely random name plucked from thin air tbh... And I don't just mean this comment, he's been mentioned a few times... Sam Jensen must have had the 'Glasgow' reduction that only Glasgow are allowed... Aussies on a 2.00 rather than a 4.00 and Danes on a 5.00 rather than a 5.20 What I want to know... Is this unknown rider no one would guess the same rider that is the big shock, hitter at number 1?
-
Sounds like a good talent then Look forward to hearing his name in the future...
-
Ew. No Jonas B Andersen, he hates Brough anyway, and I've got to be honest I've never even heard of Birkmose... Mind you that doesn't mean I'm writing him off, just saying it's a new name to me... Seems there's a lot of good young Danes, we need the next great Dane at Brough... Shouldn't they be 4.00 though? That's what Mikkel B Andersen was for Glasgow last year was he not? And Sam Jensen? I'm probably wrong lol
-
Jacob Bukhave and Connor Mountain for the reserve spots then? That's pretty strong Personally would prefer one of them two and a 2 pointer... As you only really need one strong reserve and another who can pick up three 3rd places... Maybe Connor Mountain/Jacob Bukhave and Connor Coles/Joe Lawlor
-
Is the final rider they're in contact with the number 1?
-
Hmmm... A shock or two... How about 'lightning' ludvig Lindgren and his bro
-
Hope the website gets updated more next season
-
Might be the last announcement of the night
-
Maybe we entering the NJL and that's our 500 riders Btw I am over the moon with Max and Matty returning I was worried they'd go elsewhere with our uncertainty... But they stayed loyal to us
-
Is it Claus Vissing or Rasmus Jensen?
-
I'm hinting that Newcastle has the better track... Although in reality, Christ knows how Scunthorpe got track of the year and Glasgow didn't... I suspect Rob Godfrey, the overlord of the BSPA, chose the results did he?
-
So why did he leave Newcastle then?
-
1. Rasmus Jensen 9.05 DEN 2. Max Clegg 4.92 GBR 3. Ludvig Lindgren 6.47 SWE 4. Matthew Wethers 6.92 AUS 5. Rene Bach 7.19 DEN 6. Jacob Bukhave 4.00 DEN 7. Connor Coles 2.00 GBR Total: 40.55 It actually fits Swap Connor for Henry Atkins/Joe Lawlor/David Wallinger... Heck even Josh Embleton and I still see that team doing A LOT... Not that it would happen in a million, billion years xD Did Ludvig leave under Martin Phillips or George? Who did he fall out with? What was the actual story? What's the deal with Carl Wilkinson? Is he still around and riding? Or has he given up now?
-
If only that were the truth I could die a happy woman... Next you'll be telling me Ludvig and Rene are the other two heatleaders With Max and Matty as back up Do you have this from a source? Or just a pure guess, as I heard Rasmus wasn't doing Championship next year and I assume he'll be doing Poland?
-
Ah sheit You know that for sure?
-
Hume and Kinsley would fit in place of Tom Perry or Alfie Bowtell in my theory above... Good shouts
-
Charles Wright 9.35 Anders Rowe 4.27 Rory Schlein 8.69 Josh Bates 6.19 Ben Barker 7.05 Alfie Bowtell/Tom Perry 3.02/3.38 Nathan Stoneman 2.00 Total: 40.57/40.93 Personally would prefer to see Tom, as I kinda wanna see Alfie back at Newcastle... But Alfie is the better, younger choice... However a little bit more experience with Nathan at reserve that you'd get with Tom might be beneficial for Somerset too... Hmmm, would love to see Charles back at Somerset just so he's not with the smoggies anymore
-
Not in the league currently Although I'm sure he will be before much longer...
-
Why not? What's the rules? Why would Gino be allowed but not Aaron, is it to do with his average?
-
I do like Ben Morley, but would he ride for us? I guess if he has no other offers he wouldn't turn us down, but we'll see, seems like a very southern based rider to me, which of course I know doesn't mean much... Morley in either of them teams over Danyon or Mountain would be ok too I expected him to be at Kent, Poole or Somerset tbh... Would love to see Ben in Newcastle kevlars in 2020... As long as Jacob is his reserve partner and Max is also in the team... Would leave plenty of points for a solid top 4... We find out tomorrow anyway... Wonder how many names will be revealed at the talk in, THJ?
-
REALLY like Adam, but I personally wouldn't like to see him return full time, he has a wife and kids who must have been through hell with him being a speedway rider... Just come back for Plymouth only or something please
-
Well I hope you're wrong too Plenty of other riders that haven't been signed up yet who could make a solid team, even ones who didn't ride the Championship in 2019... And I honestly can't see Ludvig back Personally I'd love to see the first team, with a BIG number 1, Bjarne type rider (But really cannot see it) and a solid number 5, Rene/Ludvig type rider Or the second team with a couple 7ish pointers filling 1 and 5, Rene and MPT or something, I dunno Still got me Danny King dream alive too, even though everyone knows he's signed for Poole... 1. 2. Max Clegg 4.92 GBR 3. Joel Andersson 5.62 SWE 4. Matthew Wethers 6.92 AUS 5. 6. Danyon Hume 3.19 GBR 7. Jacob Bukhave 4.00 DEN Left: 16.35 Or 1. 2. Max Clegg 4.92 GBR 3. Victor Palovaara 6.25 SWE 4. Matthew Wethers 6.92 AUS 5. 6. Jacob Bukhave 4.00 DEN 7. Connor Mountain 4.61 GBR Left: 14.30 I've only not used Ulrich because THJ is adamant he's not back... I'm not sure how well the wild style of Danyon Hume would suit Brough Park? There's also 2.00ers like Connor Coles and Joe Lawlor to consider? Or even the possibility of new faces to British speedway... Mikkel Michelsen did say he was doing British speedway did he not? A woman can dream lol... Again these are all just guesses and dreams for a bit of fun, either way I am just happy we have a team and I'd like to thank everyone who has been in charge of us these last couple of seasons for keeping us afloat... Hopefully we can have a bit of stability now as it feels we've been passed around a bit and have had to start late team building the last three season!!
-
I'm really not sure as I've never got to see him ride yet, but I really hope Rob goes out and average higher than a 4.00 this year xD Even if it's just a 4.01... Just because he's old doesn't mean he can't improve
-
Good shout, would like to see Gino in Britain... How about Aaron Fox? He made a good name for himself guesting for us ^_^ I think he's a 7.5 rider at best tbh... Might kick on next season, who knows? We can still have a solid team without a big name... We just need 6.5/7 pointers all through the 1-5 and two strong reserves (Max and Jacob?)
