  1. James sarjeant on a 3.90 anyone? Would LOVE to see zach back in the sport
  2. I'm sure Plymouth will take advantage of him? On a bargain average and can sit in a number 4 position quite comfortably
  3. Tom bacon makes a bit more sense because he ain't been around as long and he actually has scope for improvement... whereas josh is basically at his level... would love to see james at newcastle one day, guested for us a few years back and was popular
  4. Another british rider who's a victim of the new rules... I'm so confused as to how josh bates can be a rising star but james cant? Other than family ties
  5. Cue generic and overly recycled joke about how someone thinks the next signing will be Jeremy Doncaster or some other old, wrinkly, legend of the sport...
  6. Rob all over then Hopefully not Rene, don't wanna see one of my favourites ride for the enemy
  7. Hes right though ain't he? Funny how everyone can see this happening but the blind few scunthorpe fans god robfrey wouldn't lie to yous like that, would he? Not like hes destroying the sport or anything...
  8. Is Jack Parkinson-Blackburn actually making a return to the sport?
  9. 1. Jason Crump 12.00 2. Zaine Kennedy 4.00 3. Victor Palovaara 6.25 4. Either Ruml 4.00 5. Bjarne Pedersen 10.37 6. Henry Atkins 2.24 7. Nathan Stoneman/Richard Andrews 2* Total: 38.86 If Americans do come in on 5.00 swap a Ruml for Josh MacDonald and put Kennedy at 4... What's the chances of Victor riding in Plymouth? Would be nice to see imo... Not quite BWD but a decent 3rd heat leader in that team and this league... Decent teams lineups are possible, we just have to wait and see for the final lineup... Chances are this is the 2022 team anyway, so hopefully travel restrictions are mostly lifted by then
  10. I thought Americans came in on a 4.00? I'm sure Gino and Broc both did, probably wrong though
  11. 1. Jason Crump 12.00 2. Henry Atkins 2.24 3. Bradley Wilson Dean 8.21 4. Wilbur Hancock 4.00 5. Bjarne Pedersen 10.37 6. Richard Andrews 2.00 7. Nathan Stoneman 2 star Total: 38.82 (2* rising star) Don't get me wrong, I think it's an awful team... But it sure is an interesting one... And I think riders like Wilbur and Henry would shock a few... Once Jason and Bjarne got proper averages, they'd be able to replace (Henry/Nathan/Richard) with a 4.00 Aussie maybe? Zaine Kennedy at number 2 and the other two who are kept out of (Henry/Nathan/Richard) at reserve... Not bad tbh... So eventually the team may look like 1. Jason Crump 2. Zaine Kennedy/Josh MacDonald 3. Bradley Wilson Dean 4. Wilbur Hancock 5. Bjarne Pedersen 6. Henry Atkins 7. Nathan Stoneman Considering the riders they had to choose from...
  12. That alone will pay for itself.. certainly planning on visiting again myself if we get the chance... love the place, nice scenery near the track too
  13. The powers that be must like open a holes... So they can rip the sh!t out of them like they do with every other aspect of the sport... Certain a holes must know how to play the system, bit like everything in life... 'Brown noses' I think they're called...
  14. And last year. And the year before. And the year before that too... Never been given a chance for some reason Wonder if it's something about him personally? Dunno what kind of bloke he is... But he's certainly a hell of a talent, and hasn't got much time left to prove himself... If he's ever given the chance...
  15. Really do rate Steven Goret quite highly, think he could make quite a name for himself if he continues like this... Interesting to hear about Patrick Hyjek... Hope he sticks with his German roots, lots of young Poles already...
  16. Thank you both for your help... Much appreciated. Are there any other current Ukrainian riders I have maybe missed from that list? Cheers
  17. Will the new rules and less overseas riders mean that some older riders may make some comebacks? We've already seen Lewis Bridger and Paul Hurry return to the sport, is there any other rumoured returns? Lewis Rose? Lewis Blackbird? What are all these lads up to these days. Would be interesting to see if more Brits come back out the cobwebs and surprise a few people.
  18. So do all teams get to choose a rider to reduce average 'for the good of speedway'? Seems a bit unfair Yes he could, but won't be at Redcar, although I'm lead to believe that Anders is a 4* so maybe he couldn't? But he was 8.21 for 2020 and now 8.00 for 2021, everyone should therefore get a decrease for the extra year away? Yes, I am aware, I was trying to point out to other people that a team can have as many rising stars as they like, the more the better tbh, but one of them has to be at 7 and the other can fit wherever their average dictates
  19. Then everyone should get a decrease as everyone has had a year away?
  20. I presume either Jack or Josh won't be back? Unless they want to go for this, which looks awful tbh. No offence Ashley, you're one of my favourite riders 1. Troy Batchelor 8.82 2. Ashley Morris 3.24 3. Josh Grajczonek 7.29 4. Kyle Howarth 5.58 5. Jack Holder 7.49 6. 3.08 Left? 7. ???
  21. How come Jason Crump's average has gone from 8.21 last week to 8.00 this week? Conveniently to drop Ipswich JUST under the average limit? 1. Jason Crump 8.00 2. Jordan Stewart 4.00 3. Danny King 6.66 4. Cameron Heeps 6.30 5. Nicolai Klindt 7.43 6. Anders Rowe 3.00 7. Drew Kemp (3*) Total: 35.39
