  1. Its not that bad, better than Rye by a mile.
  2. To be honest I am coming round to this team. It won't lose many at home and a bit of luck away and it is a playoff team.
  3. Lets wait and see what happens on track shall we. At home that team is going to take some stopping. Away from home i feel is the worrying part. BWD and Wajtknecht will provide a decent reserve pairing and we know what to expect from Starkey and Wright. Young Allen may be a shrewd signing or may not but time will tell. The top two worries me though. Grajczonek is hot and cold and i have never been a fan of Tungate. As i said lets wait and see.
  4. In fairness of BWD he should be starting on a 3.00. He stormed the national in his ever season here. I think he has way more potential than Ellis.
  5. It was just an idea and as a Rebel fan myself I think it would be cheeky but at the same time makes sense.
  6. I bet if it is true (if). The promotion are using the fact that Allen had signed a contract for Berwick last season so therefore is not new to British Speedway. This would qualify for cat3a. Just a thought, what do more experienced heads think?.
  7. Exactly, we have had some amazing teams in the past seasons. We always set up an announcement night but the riders are picked before. On the other matter i can see one of Grajczonek and Wright missing out now, it wouldn't be wise to have both in the team.
  8. each to their own. I would just prefer him to the possibility of Rohan Tungate.
  9. he scored 16 last season with Redcar and won two races in 2013 but suffered a bike problem in his third so only lost to Morris and Allen.
  10. What about Matej Kus. Not been signed up yet and definetly has a liking to the oak Tree.
  11. Where has this jake allen thing come from?
  12. I didn't see it, i'm guessing he was good.
  13. So we are more than likely ending up with Tungate. I can see this being the weakest premier lineup we will ever have.
  14. My last go at a team but what about 1. Josh Grajczonek 8.50 - wants to come back and only rider left that would ride for Somerset above an 8.00. 2. Bradley Wilson Dean 5.00 - I really think it is either Somerset, Sheffield or Plymouth that he will be at. 3. Paul Starke 6.00 - Crime if he isn't back. 4. Charles Wright 6.89 - same as starkey. 5. Nick Morris 7.91 - not been snapped up yet and a return may help him./ J. Holder 7.10 6. Robin Aspgren 4.82 - would takeover Wilson Dean. 7. Zach W 3.00 - one of the best young talents in the national league.
  15. He should be an assessed 3.00 average. He was able to ride in the national league, therfore must have some heritage to qualify as British regardless if he signs for somerset or not.
  16. From what I have been reading it seems 6/7 are nailed on with Josh, Starke, Wright, Tungate, Greenwood and Zach. Then a tie up between Howarth and Holder of which i would prefer Holder.
  17. Grajczonek and Kurtz are both fantastic at home. Away matches are sometimes a different story, not all but some.
  18. I hope not, that team would get beat home and away. Josh is not a number 1, he is too hot and cold. Heeps was awful last season and Tungate is a risk. Aspgren may be a better shout at reserve with Zach.
  19. I never said I wanted to see the back of him. I simply gave factual reasons for why I would not mind if he stayed or moved on. He is a very good rider but has his flaws. Which I am sure anyone can see.
  20. Kurtz Starke Wright Aspegren Grajczonek Ellis Greenwood Not sure on Ellis' average
  21. Masters should be banned next season anyway and certainly should never wear the Rebels colours again.
  22. Don't get me wrong from my original post, I wouldn't complain if he returned because he did score a fair few points and is a quick rider. I just personally think that he needs a smaller trickier track to learn on. He relies too much on his throttle. Sometimes last season he threw away points and was sometimes a danger to other riders.
