David and I had many second half races together at Swindon in the early 70s, We were good speedway friends and had many laughs and good times together. I was actually hoping we might meet up again on october 11th at the Abbey farewell but it was not to be although i will be thinking of him while i am there. R.I.P. David, thinking of you and your family at this time
