  1. I agree. Had a go at both of them. Hope it's a bit wet
  2. Wonder if BSN can swap to the Sheffield meeting. Not that i'm looking forward to seeing the Stars get stuffed. Edit. Nope not happening.
  3. I'd agree. I expect an improved performance from Artem and Vadim of around 17 between them, instead of the 6 between them they got last week. Add NKI, Bomber and Basso with 21 between them. And 13 from the reserves, with Cook scoring the majority of them. I'll stick my neck out and go 51-39.
  4. He's only averaged 2.13 in his 5 meetings so far. Mountain is probably an upgrade. Would be nice to have a full team though.
  5. It might be just the pic, but there looks to be a big wave in the track opp the first tractor, and a fair few stones ?
  6. You might be right. I was just going by an earlier post. What i've seen of him he doesn't have the get up n go of an Emil or a JD by a long way... Lets hope he turns up for you next 3 home meetings, so you can go out on a winning streak.
  7. You could be right there. I know there wasn't a lower league when Mike started. I have been keeping an eye on Ashton as he's a Lynn lad, and used to go to the wife's primary school with his brother. Even back then, both brothers that had immaculate MX kit. Being British MX champ and world No.8. He must be a focused and determined lad.
  8. In 1975 Mike lee averaged 9.04 for 2nd division Boston and 7.43 for Lynn in the to flight. He was born in Dec 1958. Was he 16? my brain has frazzled. Rob Lambert, wasn't he 16 when he rode for Lynn as well.
  9. I believe Mike Lee is helping with his engines.
  10. To be fair. You was all moaning when Lynn got Laguta, and you didn't have a No.1. Now you have him, after 1 meaning your moaning again If he was on the track spare, that should explain why he was dreadful. Your track should suit him imo. He averaged 9.08 at the AFA, but only 5.09 from his 3 away meetings at Ippo, BV and Leicester, which included pulling up once in each meeting.. Being as you only have home meetings left he should do a job, if he ditches that Briggs and Stratton.
  11. Since CJ bailed. Buster has got Vadim. Paddy, Bomber and Laguta. MT was going to turn you into the "Man City of speedway" . I'll leave it there.
  12. Since CJ left Buster in the brown stuff, i think he's done his best for the team myself. Patryk, Laguta, Vadim and Harris in. Maybe you could of had a team like that from the off with a "big" sponsor. Although my guess would be that someone is funding Laguta.
  13. Maybe someone has come forward and agreed to cover Laguta's wages?
  14. Glad i didn't lump on, as i was thinking BV might be trying to keep their riders averages down a bit. But no way did i expect that
  15. BV -6 after HT 8 @1.80 and -18 @ 1.90. Pretty confident unless BV are on an average reduction exercise
  16. I think Taresenko did, but Breum and Wojdylo certainly came in under Buster after CJ bailed out. Taresenko came when we had Laguta and Klindt at the time when the P/B fans , lets say wasn't happy at best. He has turned out to be a bargain on a 5. Out of the other 2, it seems like Wojdylo looks the better one at this stage. I think Breum probably had his papers etc sorted before Woddy so came to us . In an ideal world i hope Buster has first dibs being as he brought them both over and gave them a chance ( i did say ideal world) btw .
  17. I was told about a month ago that Leicester were after him for next season. But now with them up for sale, i guess Sheffield may well get him in.
  18. I agree. I know he's got teams after him for next season in both leagues.
  19. A King's Lynn lad. Went to the wife's Primary school. British champ and world number 8 at MX.. Only cocked a leg over a speedway bike a little over a year ago.. Get in the queue is what i would say. Someone will get a great prospect next season imho.
  20. Man o'live - phrase meaning and origin (phrases.org.uk)
  21. Home against Lynn and P/B 8.70 Home against BV, shef, wolves 7.14 Away ..................................... 7.38 Away ....................................... 5.92
