Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17
Bald Bloke replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I also think Swindon or any team that finishes top deserve it over a season. I suppose the play offs give's more sets fans and teams something to race for.Keeps the interest up until the end and brings money in. -
Relegation And Promotion Play Offs

That's the thing.May cause more problems. If you inforce the R&P you might get Championship teams dropping points all over the place to avoid going up. -
Totally agree.Would be first on my team sheet on a 6 if Rye can afford him.

I can see both yours and Danny Smith's views on Lambo.I too would be trying to get him signed up ASAP.But only if the deal rider AND the club. I'm sure there will plenty of interest in him.Just hope Buster can do a deal and that Lambo isn't miffed off at Lynn .

Poole V Swindon Semi Final 1st Leg 11/9/17
Bald Bloke replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I think it will be a home side win in both legs.Just depends by how much.I wouldn't bet on the winner over 2 legs. -
Correct me if i'm wrong. But didn't you say Lambo was over rated? Any info on the article ?

Why.I'm sure Buster isn't skint.I'm sure he can,but if he wants to is a different matter.

They are...But with the bad form of Bellego I think it's pretty close over the 2 legs. -
Big stars do bring bigger crowds in any sport imho.I'm not sure how speedway pay.If say Swindon pay Dolye £3000 a meeting. If they pay away wages as I think they do they will be paying £6000 per home meeting, going on one home and one away meeting.Would Doyle put 350 on every home gate.I'm not sure

I'm glad for any speedway coverage. What ever the quality.

Recently came across my old ones.Is it still as popular as it was in the 70/80s ? I remember waiting ages to catch a rider.

Agree, everyone must of thought Lynn would struggle after the whingers went.I think everyone knew Lynn could'nt replace like for like. But i'd rather that and pick up the wooden spoon than let them dictate and kiss their arses. It was a shame as Lynn looked good for 4th at the time. But if like me,who thought it right to get rid,you can't moan to much about the results after "That night"

That's the best and most non biased post I've seen on the forum.
