Fingers crossed the rumours are just that, and he's not as bad as some are saying. 🙏

Stars vs Witches - 18th May - POSTPONED
Bald Bloke replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I know he's no saint. But putting back a Lynn NDL match, or the new Prem team can't ride. He did it to help Northampton, or in the interest of the sport, take ya pick. He will never please some. -
Stars vs Witches - 18th May - POSTPONED
Bald Bloke replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
These days calling a meeting or 2 off a season, the day before due to a dodgy forecast might be the difference whether some clubs can just about afford to run or not. The crowds just ain't big enough at a lot of clubs to take the risk these days. Damned if you do, blah blah blah.. It seems like Buster has put a lot of time and effort into helping Northampton. I doubt if that could be said with every clubs owner? -
Thanks. That's a good insight into the cost of running a just 1 bike 👀

‘Stars’ vs ‘Aces’ - Premiership R1 - 11.04.26
Bald Bloke replied to StarBoy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I wasn't keen on Cook either tbh, although he eventually came back at the end of last season, and did ok. I questioned his commitment to the team/club. And Paco was a worry from the start. Big hitter or no big hitter, so far it seems the same old theme. -
‘Stars’ vs ‘Aces’ - Premiership R1 - 11.04.26

Of course they could. It should be a tight one. I think the Stars will get over the line, but will need at least 37 from Max, Ben, Jan, and Bomber imho. -
Got to have it in mind i think.

I'm not so sure on the banker. I think it will be a tight meeting myself.

Not for Kvech .

I don't think anyone said he would or could be. -

I'm not so sure myself. I think Jan is just a 7 pointer (6.91) last season. Hes defiantly a trier though. He might up that a little this season, in a slightly weaker league. -

Think of it as our press and practice day😉. We never had one. -

The Championship will do them good, and they will learn a lot there. With Lynn giving them both a place in the Prem this season, hopefully they stay loyal in the future. -

Some of us are giving the our 2 local lads a chance to get going. I do agree about Paco. While i agree that Scoot and Coops is risky at reserve. But not anymore than Paco in the 1-5. At least Lynn are trying the you young guns -

Agree. Hard to predict. Ippo has got riders that go well at the AFA. Even if Lynn can get 40 from our top four, it will be to a big ask to hit 51. My prediction is 2 points either way on the night. -
Ipswich vs Kings Lynn Thursday April 9th 7.30pm KOC

I'll amend that to 53-37 in that case -

Cook doesn't seem to go that well at the Foxhole, don't know about Paco, and Scott and Coops will need time to settle, and rightly so. Always hard to predict early season results, but if i had to, id go around the 56-34 mark.
