  1. Gutted after all those years racing speedway,he came foul of an accident for fun.
  2. Not sure about the better style than Adams. One of my Fav's.But glad to have him back and it is a shame that Freddie hasn't got a ride as yet.
  3. Folder and *natch ruined Lynns 2017.Was in a play off position at the time. NKI back.Only 2nd best to Doyle.2nd best rider in the league.Brundle on board, don't know his input yet(but it can't be worse).Promotion to encouraged to take kids. I admit I don't think Lynn is as strong as I would of liked, and I have said so,but how many teams do you think would of like NKI.He ain't cheap !! Your mind seems made up.
  4. So the adult saves £4 if he takes a junior.A junior that might never go,might get the chance now.I can see an adult with no kid pays a pound more. Better than keeping last seasons £17 and charging 11-16 year olds £5,for the future of the sport is it not.
  5. I think a genuine supporter won't mind a pound,if it ends up with some interest from the young ones that might not of seen the racing otherwise.
  6. Isn't allowing 11-16 years olds for free instead of paying £5 a positive.Trying to encourage the youngsters. They might be the fans of the future (if speedway has one)..I don't know how many teams do this, but I suspect there's not many. NKI is a big one.How many teams have a bigger rider than him in 2018.Only the Rebels.I don't think there's a team that would have Nicki P on a 9 point ave after his bad injury ant at around 38.Big gamble imho.
  7. Surely adults with kids 11-16 wouldn't mind paying a pound more, making a £4 saving overall. It's trying to get more youngsters involved.I know it don't help people without kids in this age bracket, but they need to balance the books.
  8. That sounds like a good deal for the fans..My 15 year old will be attending more.
  9. Great news.I was hoping it was NKI back instead of Kenny after Anderson was announced.Would of wasted points if it was Kenny.
  10. Lets see how it goes.I'm hoping if changes are needed, Buster won't be slow in replacing any who ain't doing their job.
  11. Good to see your on the mend Starman.Get yourself ready for March.Them pesky Pirates have a good looking team for 2018
  12. Nice bloke.Loves his speedway, but don't have what it takes under pressure
  13. He would. And Poole would laugh at him on that ave.
  14. I was thinking the same.Bit unusual to see a rider talking about other riders like that on a public forum.
  15. Lynn will have a good no.1 and good reserves. Not a play off team ,unless a change or 2 is made mid season
  16. Buster has owned Lynn for 20 or more years. No rent...He has spent big on the stadium.Don't look like he's selling anytime soon then.Prob worth more for industrial.Must be in one of the better shapes of most in the Prem, but the team looks poor.Buster must be one of the "richest" promoters in the Prem. But spending the least..
  17. It's an age thing. For me Neilsen and Rickardsson where the men.I watched M.Lee from 14 and if you look up his ave's you'll see how good he was at a young age before he went off the rails.
  18. I'm not a Poole fan by a long shot.I think its how Ford is so ruthless with his riders and a few on this forum that put me off if, i'm honest. But surely in the position Buster is in now,he wouldn't allow Poole to get these "ringers" in, when he has a team in the same league ? We can only assume that anyone could of signed Woryna on a 4.65(old ave) and Spanner 4.54 on reduced ave. Poole sign Woryna on an old 4.65 who's beating then all in Poland and it looks like Lynn might have an untested Anderson on a 4.00..The mind boggles.
