  1. I thought i might know you from way back.. But not if you attended the first meeting at Saddlebow road.. My first meeting was in 72 as an 8 year old. I used to walk around 8 miles (round trip) every week with my Dad.
  2. Speedway ain't football though .Man Utd have 80 -90k + fans trying to fit into a 75k stadium most games. Try and get a ticket. Man City had their tour through the town on the same night and the meeting was on TV.. It was said 800 by BV fans who have a better idea the us lot. That's not good, but if you take the TV and Man City away, they might of had 12-1300, which I guess is about right ?
  3. Lynn .. R/R for NKI. We might get 6 or so for Niels I guess . 4 or 5 of them from Ty and Lambo at best. Might pick up 1 or 2 from his other 2 rides. Not there for HT 15 though.. Auty for MPT .. Micheal's last meeting saw him score an 18 point max at the Showground.. I'd expect a solid 6 - 7. Think Auty might get 3-4 riding in the top 5 if he makes a start. Lions.. Wells for Hans . I'm sure Ricky will give 100%, but i would of had Hans down for 9 -10 from 5...Ricky will probably get 4 rides and score around 6. Again no Hans for HT15. If it is Rory for Kenny (Was mentioned, i ain't looked), the Lions will do ok there imho. Kenny would do about 10 - 11 from 5 i think. If Rory gets 5 i think he will be the meetings top scorer with 13 from 5. He's on fire and will want to put one up Buster. Overall I think the Lions have the better deal.
  4. Poole will win well. Another 3 points to add to the 1 at Rye. Looking better all ready. A few Poole fans will have changed their tune soon Poole will make the top 4. I'd bet on it.
  5. As Rob R said, the rolling averages will rule that out, for this season at least I don't know what he's doing different this season, or who does his bikes, but he's flying. As you said Ray , he comes across as a lovely lad, very grounded for such a young age. BV have got a gem there.
  6. Same here. He'll be the meetings top scorer if true. He's averaged this season is a massive 10.83. Good luck to him I say.
  7. Poole win by 14 + for me. And some cheerful Poole fans
  8. Your just a troll, and not a funny one !!!!! One disrespectful post after another......
  9. You really are a sad case And Nick's averages including tonight are 8.89 home, 7.80 away. Not bad is it....
  10. Enjoyed that. Dan Bewley generates some bloody speed.
  11. Should go like sihte off a shovel tonight then
  12. Who takes Stevie Worrall's ride's.Is it anyone bar Cook.
  13. Rory is a great guest for Hans. He's on fire and will want to put one up Buster. The meetings top scorer. Craig Cook isn't a good replacement for NKI at this time imho.Scored 3 in the first let and might be on a downer after the GP. Could be a close one.
  14. I wouldn't bet against Poole making the playoffs. Early days.
  15. Lynn should be ok, NKI isn't up to speed and r/r should pick up 6 or so for MPT. The Lions are going to struggle though. Hans is going very well and Kenny will have wanted to put one over the Stars. A hollow win for the Stars for me, and a poor show for the fans that do turn up..
  16. There looking very strong. Richie did go off 15m in his first ride, so might of scored more.
  17. True.Bomber had a mare looking at this. He borrowed reserve Jack Thomas bike in HT13 ,and even that packed up. Bomber in front in HT 15 and packed up again.. 1. Chris Harris - R, 2', T, R, R=2+12. Lewis Kerr - 3, 3, 3, 3, 3=15 MAX3. Claus Vissing - 1, 3, 2', 1, F=7+14. Paul Starke - 0, 0, TS, R=05. Richie Worrall - 0, 1, 1, 2=46. Jack Thomas - 1', 0, 0, 1=2+17. James Sarjeant -2, 1, 0, F, R=3Read more: http://speedwayupdates.proboards.com/thread/17756/workington-championship-shield-13-4pm?page=1#ixzz5FPkSImvg
  18. So no NKI and MPT for Lynn No HA and KB for the lions, is that right ?
  19. Even better. I didn't realise Lewis broke the Glasgow track record in HT 1 as well. But that young Ace Dan Bewley broke it again in HT7.
  20. Lewis and Ty going well today in the Gasgow v Workington match . Lewis 3 3 3 3 3 15 Ty 3 2'2 2'3 3 15+2
