Wolverhampton v Poole. Prem A. 23/4/18
Bald Bloke replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Ford seems to be the best promotor in terms of finding ways around the rules, or as some say, using them to the full. Don't always work first time around. He takes no prisoners.. I think Matt Ford Fan is his son -
Premiership 23/04/18 - Leicester v Swindon

As a Lynn supporter, i don't like the bloke.. But he can be a top rider as he is proving so far this season. His antics at Lynn( injured) and scoring well as a guest the next night is just one example. Another one. Guest for BV at Poole, scored 1....... For his team scored 12, 6 days later. -
In not a Poole fan as you know and like a dig now and again. But credit where credit's due.

Thanks for that Phil. Dan is on fire at the mo. Love your track, but only seen it on TV.. -
Can only be a good thing. How can you knock that for a few quid.
-
Good going that.. And a bargain if the price is right
-
It must be horrible..Don't forget Davey scored well in the charity shield over 2 legs with the Aces. 7+3 from 5 and 5+1 from 4......So it looks like he is better than he is showing right now. Looks like he is capable of averaging 2 per meeting given a run at it.
-
That made me lol.. But being serious, I had not heard of the meeting and if it is in tribute as Bagpuss has said to four lost riders then it is a nice touch... I don't know is SS was being serious, I suspect he was. The £3 +£5 for the souvenir program, is well cheap.

Cheers. Still on the up. I admit I said i thought Woryna could put 1.5 - 2 points on that 4.65. As we know to well, a riders form abroad don't always follow then here.. It's Gosh, Linus that have dropped the most I believe. I think Kurtz will be ok .Only had one bad meeting.
-
Spanner hasn't been in the UK for around 4 years, and has been to wolves. Starting ave 4.54.....After 4 meetings it's 4.24. Should at least do his average given more than 4 meetings. Woryna was 4.65 (at reserve I think). Now 4.89 riding in the team. Already up and he should improve even more. Shanes was 2.88. Now 2.46. I wouldn't say "He's a dead weight". Will probably do his average given a chance.

I'm 7 miles from track and its been raining here since 1pm, heavy at times, and still coming down with plenty of standing water. Hope it stops soon. -
Just seen this.I was looking in the wrong place. Missed the odd ride and 1 point from some.. If i knew it was that easy to find I wouldn't of bothered.
-
Well I would go with theirs of course.I will have a look. Maybe theirs are still after 3 meetings? Not sure, but they have Linus upping his average.
-
Got some time on my hands, so thought i'd see what the Poole riders are averaging after the first 4 meetings..Not getting at Poole, but with the talk of changes thought I would have a look. ** Been told mine differs from the GB website one, so scrap this one ** Starting ave first. Kurtz 8.08................ 7.40 Woryna 4.65............ 4.66 Josh 7.34................ 6.25 Linus 7.22............... 5.75 Killer 7.??................ 7.36 Spanner 4.54......... 4.23 James 2.88........... 2.46

I think that's spot on tbh.

Ford went for a stronger upper order .Shanes started on a 2.88..Is average so far this season after 4 matches is 2.46. He will probably do his average tbh. all you can ask of him. You have Holder back soon. You should be ok. Don't forget you got Linus, Killer and the 2 Poles on "good" averages..Oh and Holder on a "bargain" ave. May be Ford can wriggle Greg in for Shanes as well.. Poole are a better team than we have seen so far? I know its not their fav track, but does anyone know how Poole's gating was. That seemed to be where they were lacking up to now. -

I'm probably miles off the mark. Just sitting here and thinking, that's all. Not saying they should, but i think Holder would fit for Linus before the new aves come out. It must of crossed Ford's mind. -

Ermm. Maybe changes in the pipeline. If there is, i hope it's not Holder for Linus and Killer is staying..Would be a disaster for the other teams. Maybe my mind in just in overdrive -

Bald Bloke replied to therefused's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We need Niels winning races in this one to get the win i think. Poole are a better team than what we have seen so far. King's Lynn "wooden spoon" Stars 46 Poole "tin pot" Pirates 44 The Stars might win by a slightly bigger margin, but I can see Poole picking up a point. -
Not much between the two for me.

I'd rather Killer than Holder if it was my team, if it was at all possible. Killers average from his 3 meetings is 8.26 and rising. A 9 plus ave looks in easy reach for him. 4/4/18 ... 7 from 4 16/4.... 10 from 5 18/4....16 from 6 Not sure if Holder could match him. But who knows.
