  1. Yep.Lambo was close enough. Just needed Tai to try and slow Emil.
  2. I know I've not been here that long, but don't like being told what to do by a newbie
  3. It was in reply to a Poole fan on here... Smoli rode well. Might do Poole a turn.I know you don't like em, and neither do I, but i'm not a knob either.
  4. I've never said Tai was an Aussie myself, but I have criticized him for pulling out of team GB...Will say he rode awesome tonight though.
  5. At the top or very near the Prem ave's so far in 2018 (without checking) Just checked and he is.Might not stay there, but looks like 2018 will be a step up for him.
  6. When you look at say UK's No.2 tonight Lambo, and the other " No 2's, I thought he did great.
  7. Tbh. He had no choice. Hope it does the trick though.
  8. Well done Team GB...I was one of them who wasn't keen on Woffy pulling out of the UK team. But he was awesome, On top of his game tonight., and it can only do Lambo the world of good as well. I didn't see Craig's ride asi I got home late.
  9. I don't know what his Prem ave would be right now, if he was signed.Up and down in the Prem before if I remember.. Can easy win a race as come last. Would make a good reserve, if he stayed there. Not likely though. To good.
  10. I hope so. You need something to get you going.
  11. He has proved that he can and still does, i agree. I did read about poor out dated tools for the job. The track should of been got at as early as possible. But hindsight is a wonderful thing.
  12. But not so it seems I feel sorry for all the fans that turned up and were sent home.. It's a funny one. The track has been raced on since Glyn has been doing it. He is no mug when it comes to tracks, but I guess this Poole one is maybe something he hasn't come across..There is clearly something wrong with the base under certain conditions. I don't know if the tide thing has much to do with it, or if combined by very wet weather, it does.. Similar to the trouble BV had at the start, a soggy bottom. I know fans like a bit of banter, me included. Maybe they need to find out who put BV's right quick smart... And now someone's gonna say it was Glyn If there is any truth Poole are loosing £8k a week, I hope they can get this sorted and fans will return. No one wants a club to fold, not even Poole.
  13. I'll take your detailed explanation MMF. Not sure about "decent gambler" Seems to be getting harder this season
  14. No Skidder, she don't . But even at £11 x 1400, then x that by 3, you are still up there. Matt might of meant 3x the profit per meeting, I don't know. It don't matter, I was just trying to show it wasn't 3 x the gate money, thats all. I do know, that back in around 2010 a good young rider that is still riding now (no names) told someone i know ( another rider who has retired now) that he earned " About £30K a week" from Poland, Sweden and the UK put together.. Probably before tax, it wasn't mentioned. The money might be different these days, i'm guessing less in the UK.
  15. You don't get a 1000 paying at £17 plus the rest making up to £20k. You say the Poles want 3x that...Just a joke tbh. My 6 year old Granddaughter could work that out
  16. Do you believe that Steve...….. If you do you are talking rubbish,or your maths ain't no good.
  17. yhat's £60k .Wrong.Im pretty sure ant GP rider would ride hear for £10k per meeting. £60k is just a joke and a lie...
  18. Any comments on the £60k Gp star Steve ?
  19. You know "Treble the gate" money is crap. Pooles gate money is at least £20k.You telling me the big guns want £60k a meeting ?? in the UK.Im pretty sure if £10k a meeting was offered, you would see some GP riders return. You need to forget 3x £20K lol... If Ford could afford £10K, you would see a top gp rider, riding for Poole. He wants to win so bad.
