  1. My best days at Lynn were when you could stand next to the fence, some days I would go early just to get next to the boards. I started in 72 at the age of 8.... 7 mile round walk with my Dad. We did it for years, getting chips on the way home from the chippy off of Saddlebow road. Big crowds back then. Later I think there was a single metal bar preventing you from getting to the boards, That we used to walk over, then a wooden one, then a big wire one.
  2. I think it said 2022? With respect if the new stadium isn't up and running by then, it may well not matter
  3. Drip feeding it is what you want to do when you have a few " ringers" lined up, or a team like Wolves or Boro.. IMHO it looks a bit silly. We know who the riders are, because the other teams are complete. If Buster owns the Panthers and pays the wages, then why wasn't their team drip fed. One of the 1st teams declared, and one of the best ??
  4. Bought a lump to my throat that. Very unusual for me. Nice to see someone like that young Lady stand by their partner when things go ** up. Great little vid SS. At 6.35 Fu@king allergic to alcohol comment from Darcy had me genuinely laughing out loud after hearing it earlier from the brides Father( I take it)
  5. It is weak. The 18 points we scored away last season have gone. Be lucky to get 3
  6. So they can have team suits if someone else pays ?
  7. No one want's to pay out for 14 pairs a season .
  8. I know Lynn's team is not out there, but know what it will be. Lynn usually only make changes when injuries happen and it worked out in 18. But if there where no injuries I guess no changes would of been made...And Lynn would have fallen by the way side.
  9. Not sure about that Haza. Would of agreed, but looking at Lynn and the Panthers line up's it don't seem like Buster is favouring his beloved Lynn this season. So who knows.
  10. Agree. As we had with Ty and MPT, they are/were not linked with any other team. It tells the story itself really, same with Kerr, Riss and TJ. I hope Neil's has agreed to help us out, but don't want a full season
  11. I don't either. Will be a good battle between the Witches and the Stars at the wrong end of the table. But the league isn't won in March/April. One clever signing can change things as we all know.
  12. We may never know 100% as it's speedway. Buster must be happy with the team he has put together I guess. If i'm correct Lynn picked up 18 away points last season. If they manage any more than 4 with the team I think they have this season, they will do well... Has Buster lost the plot
  13. With no back up for Lambo and the worst reserve average wise in the league 2.55( but still on the 4.00 he came with last season) I certainly don't.. But you could be right Sid. Who knows what goes on in Busters head these days.
  14. Ermm. I wonder what the deal is.You have got me thinking now..Probably to much.. If you think about it Louis has a buy back clause, their team isn't a patch on the Panthers, and I don't think Lynn's will be either. I can't work out how Buster would give Peterborough a great team, that don't look cheap and leave his so called beloved Lynn with a predicted team that looks far weaker.. Probably just me over thinking
  15. Not this one Skidder. Maybe I've missed something. http://www.peterborough-speedway.com/news.php?extend.3568.2
  16. I doubt it. None of the others that's thought to be in the Lynn like up are riding for any other PL club, so must be at Lynn. No room at the Inn. Scotty would of fitted for Ty.
  17. If it was the case that they where indeed proved to be rogue traders, I guess it could be argued it was that it was in the interests of home hygiene
  18. Agree. Buster seems to have Peterborough looking very good
  19. The difference being no top back up for Lambo. Imho, it will be a big mistake..NKI was good away as his average proves. Then add Kasper (2.55) on a 4.00. Then if lewis signs, his scores before he got injured averaged 7.58 home 3.87 away. I wish him well, but it's a big gamble for me. It's just my opinion Baggy. I hope i'm wrong. I will be the first one to put my hands up
  20. I don't think Buster is worried about season tickets tbh. Over the season he would make more from people paying a pound each to sit down. The only benefit season tickets might have is that the promotor has a few grand up front. Ok if you need it, but I doubt Buster does if he can take on 2 more clubs. He has 3 clubs. Panthers declared their team quickly, and it looks very good, and not cheap. Ipswich, not as fast or as good, but done. Then he drip feeds Lynn. Who looks like their team will be a poor one. That's what will miff me off. NKI or a like for like is a must .NKI's away ave last season holds up pretty well. At 7.62 it was up there. Only Doyle 8.95, Lambo 8.27 and Batch 8.00 where much ahead. Fricke 7.64 and Cook 7.63 almost identical to Niel's. To big a miss if not used or a like for like.. TJ averaged 7.53 at home, but only 4.63 away. Ty 7.27 home and 5.80 away. Kasper averaged 2.55 and keeps his assessed 4.00. Lewis (if signed) averaged 7.68 at home, but 3.87 away. And returning from another bad one. Lynn had the best away record in 2018. We will be lucky to pick up a point or 2 with no back up for Robert. I wonder how long it will be before Lambo gets fed up with going it alone.
  21. Sadly I can't see it holding the British GP. It's just not big enough. I agree the track is as good as any out there though.
