I think it's10 points or more behind. A Tactical Ride (TR) is permitted after Heat 4. It can be used only once only when a team is 10 or more points in arrears - a programmed rider can then be nominated as a Tactical Ride.

Looking at the remaining heats I can't see where the Pirates can pull it back.

The first bit I highlighted...It wasn't done properly in the first place. Second.. You can't chuck water on a track if there isn't much shale. The base becomes to slippery. Third.. You are right, he has dropped his assessed average ( although cup matches don't count towards gsa as u know) But seeing as he hasn't seen any of the tracks, and he is learning on the job,he should pick up in the 2nd half of the season, if given the chance. This season going by your points/ rides he is averaging 3.66 at home, 2.66 away for an overall average of 3.16 so far. Surely he will only get better. I would guess that Ricky Wells might be more of a concent at the moment.

If Ford won't pay out for shale and the track to be sorted, then Middlo will lay blame anywhere, but not at his buddies doorstep.. The riders did talk the track man. After it got dusty, apparently they asked for it not to be watered. And someone that day apologised and said that the riders asked for it not to be watered... IMHO the only reason not to water a track in that state, is that there wasn't enough shale on the track and if it was watered, the base would be like an ice rink. All it needs is money spending, and it looks to me like Ford want's to pocket as much as he can, without spending. As i've said before Poole are the best supported, always been well sponsored, one of the most expensive for families( charges for kids), save £1000's on Kevlars , yet the track must be the worst in the league. Says it all.

That's why I used the word alleged It was talked about on here. Holder did miss a few Panthers meetings to ride in Poland, when you had priority. It was said on here by some that Rathbone was compensated. I don't know for sure, but I doubt he would of ripped the fans off for no reward. Again "alleged" covers it, I think..
