I wear the Old Reebok classics. Although they are a bit hot in the summer, I sometimes chuck them on if popping out on my motorbike. The trouble with canvas ones is that changing gear ruins them. I was looking at a pair of Munt Jacks for days out with the family though. They look nice, but are dear.

Agree. You get 3 or4 good races in most meetings. Sadly you could have your next meeting at £10 and get a few in, next week a bit less and the 3rd week the same. There's much more that the younger generation would rather be doing. It's the sign of the times. I don't think it can be fixed as a pro sport in the UK

It was a GP, and you expect tough racing. Leaving very little room, but not barging a rider into the fence. -

King's Lynn v Ipswich 17/06/2019
Bald Bloke replied to tellboy's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
We need all the points from our home meetings to climb that league. With only 1 home meeting so far, this ones a must win job. Them Wicthes will be up for it though. I'll go 48-42 -

A close one this. I see the Robins nicking it with the Aces getting a point. -

Brings back memories Tell. From about 18- 30 I used to arrive at the stadium around 6.30 on Sat night. Have a few pints in the back straight bar, and a scan through the programme . I used to stand on the 2nd bend, just before the bar. A few more pints during the meeting, then afterwards over to the home straight bar, where a good few riders used to come in. A few more pints in there. Back then they had Champs nightclub at the stadium, with free entry from the speedway bar, so many times I ended up nearly doing a 12 hour night (6.30-2am). Cost me a bloody fortune mind

I said after Dustgate, there isn't enough shale on it, hence why they didn't/couldn't water it Would of been way to slippery. The track needs money spent, and plenty of work. As I said you can't polish a turd .

Bit harsh that... coming from a curly one

Speedway GP Qualifiers.

That's 2 and a half from Lynn then. I count NKI as half because of his loyalty for the Stars Aspergren was a shock. Never mind Holder, try again next year -
Not so sure. David has had 13 meetings. Plenty of time to get going. He loves the NSS, so that meeting don't mean as much as it looks on paper. It must be his fav track by a mile.

Don't know how the average was worked out, but it's points scored divided by rides x 4. Not saying the 4.40 it's wrong Arch. I can't see Kennett averaging less than that TBH

Ford sucks air through his teeth, before saying " Fudge it, order me a tonne bag of shale" On a serious note. I hope it gets sorted, for both riders and fans.
