Poole v Ipswich 8th August 2019. Prem.
Bald Bloke replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Do these "marshalls" have any kind of induction before they are given the job, I say that loosely as all the probably get is free entry. We haven't seen any of the "afters" that went on. I wonder why. Does it show others in a bad light ?Cook should be fined, that marshall was half of the problem. -

60-30 at least if that's the case -
Would be as well off flipping burgers once all the expenses are paid.

Looked like Cook saw the flag man late and didn't have time to react. Hard to say from the vid.He was only doing 10mph. If I were that bloke I would have moved way before then. The bloke must of seen and heard the riders coming. Looked 50/50 to me. But the headbutt/ shoulder barge what ever it was, was way out of order.

I think Ippo will nick this one. As said all 6 Lynn boys have to be on it from the off. Cookies going to be a busy rider tonight. 6 rides for him. 6 for Riss or TJ as well. Heats 13 and 15 is where Lynn should of had an advantage, but that's not the case tonight. I'm not to worried about Lewis at reserve, but Nick hasn't had much track time yet. I expect Lewis to at least match Ed at 6. But Nuts could be a trump card at 7, and I expect him to out score Nick by a long way, if he is used properly by Hawkins. Plus we don't know which Cookie we will get tonight after the trouble he seems to be in. How he will be handling things mentally ?. 43-47 -
For me, he can stick his stats and his webshyte up his arris.

Lynn would of been better off last season...… with RR in the play offs! Poole 53 Lynn 37...… Ellis for NKI scored 6 from 5. Lynn 51 Poole 39..... Ellis for NKI scored 3 ….. Howarth for Toft got 3 Full strength teams Lynn would of won.. -

I take it it's that cleaning company..? If I remember there was a few on here mentioned at the time that they had no money when they looked into company house, and the people behind the firm had a bit of history. But then I read it was a new crew running things, so who knows. With Poole top of the league I would of thought firms would want to be associated with the club. Either way not good for Poole, be it the club or sponsor pulling the plug

Thanks for the replies His name had cropped up a few times lately, I thought he was another youngster coming through. I was surprised to read he was 32. I was willing him on in the British final in that heat 19.. A very late comer to the sport by the looks of it. Pity he didn't start in his teens. Still, he looks up for it and seems to love racing. Good luck to him.
