Damn. That would mean team 1 would have 5.09 for a number 2.. A bit weak -

I make his converted CL average 3.23. I think he would use that. But i'm not sure. -

, 1... Lambo 7.61 (inc -2.5 %) 2 … up to 5.86 3... Riss … 6.61 4... Klindt 7.43 5... Cook 7.58 (inc - 2.5%) 6 … Pickering 4.36 7... Broc Nicol 3.23 42.50 Or you could replace Klindt with Charles Wright and fit MPT at number 2, and TY would fit for Pickering at 6 with those changes, if prefered. 1... Lambo 2... MPT 3... Riss 4... Wright 5... Cook 6 Proctor 7 Nicol 42.44 -

As far as I can see it's a 1.6 conversion rate in 2020. If this is correct Pickering would be on 4.36 and Nicol 3.23. Ty is 4.43. I would only have him at reserve, if I had him at all. -

I'm not sure on the conversion rate for those 2 for 2020. Pickering on a 6.98 average, and Nicol has a CL average of just 5.18. I think he would be the first one on Sheffield's must have list though. -
Peterborough Panthers 2020
Bald Bloke replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
With the British rider -2.5% rule ( if it still applies in 2020) it would make Charles Wright 6.51.. Not a great reduction, but every little helps Ellis Perks fits at 7. But no chance of him leaving Swindon I think. Wolves will want Douglas back no doubt. -
Maybe Wells was cheaper Matt hasn't struggled with availability and averages before.. Will be 7 boiler suits in 2020

Your right there. Lambo 7.61 inc -2.5% Cookie 7.58 inc - 2.5% Klindt 7.43 Riss 6.61 29.25, leaving 13.25 if the limit is 42.50. I think Klindt could do a job, but would rather Cookie on those averages, if I had to choose between the 2. If Lambert and Fricke( talk of it on the BV thread) miss the UK, I would make it interesting, if Cook went back to BV -
Maybe he had a poll Would of cost next to nothing as well

That's put it better than me. All the years loyal Poole fans have lined his pockets. Ford only seems loyal to himself, not the fans, or even riders over the years.
-
Wouldn't be for me. I don't think it would make for a competitive league. And we can't afford another team to drop out. 7 is the minimum. Look at the Panthers in 2019.Reported crap crowds, fans not happy, and Buster said they/he lost money. If it was a free for all, i'm not sure they would be the only dejected team in 2020 if that happened. I don't have the answer tbh but I don't think no limit is it.
-
I'd be happy with that if it did happen. I don't think it will be for long though, IF it does happen.. Ford has one iffy season and drops down? Don't ring true for me, but if he is serious I think he is just thinking of himself and not the fans .For me Ford has been good for Poole because he was making money, now it looks like the profit isn't there, he wants rid. I can't see the top league lasting for the 5 year Eurosport deal either. I don't think Buster has enough money

I wouldn't complain if Lambo, Cookie, MPT and Erik stayed. Feel the same as you about the rest if i'm honest. I would like Charles Wright in there somewhere, but not likely. I would have him for Tofty If he would fit. -

Poole Pirates 2021
Bald Bloke replied to Pirates Of Poole's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Of course i would rather more teams in the Prem, I don't think anyone would think anything else.. I worded that post carefully, I didn't mention I wanted Poole to stay up. They are the team I like the least out of the last seasons 7. If I had to pick a team to "swap" with the Tigers it would of been Poole... But the real reason isn't what you say at all.! You have the wrong end of the stick there Lisa. The reason I think Poole will stay up is that I don't trust Ford, and I do think it could be a bluff. If it were any other team I wouldn't think of a bluff at all ! Happy to take the flack if I have got it all wrong though -
Poole Pirates 2021
Bald Bloke replied to Pirates Of Poole's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I don't. But something don't seem right to me. Ford said its 25% cheaper, but it should be cheaper to get in, so less gate money, then theres the new TV deal, might be harder to find sponsors with no TV coverage, fans could drop 2-300 as well. If that happens you will be no better off. I thought Ford was smarter than that. I might be way off the mark, but I think Matt might be trying to force the sale of the club, or get Weds night racing in the Prem. Sheffield asked to come up and it seems to of been agreed and announced pretty fast. Matt has asked to drop down, but I haven't heard anything since. No proof at all, just a feeling I have. I would rather have 8 teams than 7 in the Prem in 2020. We will see -

You can have him on a 6.5
-
I thought that if you applied to go up or down you have to wait until the AGM ? It seems the Tigers have been approved to come up already. Have Poole been accepted into the Champ yet? I ain't seen anything. Can't see the difference myself. I'll stick with my bluff theory

Berwick, Sheffield and Kent.
Bald Bloke replied to poolebolton's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Another case of Poole to win/ survive at any cost. As long as you get what you want, then that's fine.. What about the home fans , don't they deserve to get their ££ worth and see a visiting team with a their "proper" 1-7.
