Workington V Ipswich 19/8/17
Argos replied to RedcarB123's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
My first visit to Workington this season thought the track was excellent, however were have all the fans gone? I remember when the place was buzzing but last night it was like a wake, it can't continue with that sort of attendances, Never rated Jackson as a TM he's just a Fan, but I suppose he's cheap, hope there's a much better for my next visit the Adam Roynon meeting as he deserves it -
Belle Vue V Kings Lynn Stars 11-08-2017
Argos replied to g13webb's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I wasn't at the meeting but having seen the Photos obviously the conditions were very bad,It would be interesting to hear the views of supporters that were at the meeting and was at the "Holder Gate" meeting at Kings Lynn in regards to track conditions, which was the worst? -
What is the general opinion of which is the more serious Holders refusing to ride or Cook assaulting a Licensed official? If you think it's Cooks (which I think is by far) be very interesting to see what punishment Cook gets, will it be more than a 9 month ban + £3000 fine

Chris Holder Banned From British Speedway
Argos replied to cinderfella's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Re his Ban, the length of it will all depends on when he plays his fine, this is what happened to Lee and Bird, you have 30'days to pay your fine, if you haven't then your Ban starts when you do. -
Yes just as I thought there is no way the new track is good to be built, very very sad, another track lost to our sport
-
No Holder on Sunday NL guest
-
I visited Swindon for their last meeting, I couldn't believe how many houses there is and so close to the track, I love my Speedway but there's no way I would buy a house so close to a Track, Also I couldn't visualise were the supposedly new track will be anyone any idea?

Workington V Scunthorpe 05/08/17 7:00pm Champ.
Argos replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
If Mr Hoggart is not now involved at Sheffield I would agree get rid of Jackson and get Mr Hoggart in his place, the thing with Jackson is more than likely he does it for nothing as basically he's a fan,and if you pay peanuts we all know what what we get, Mr Hoggart is an ex rider, astute buisness man, so can motivate people, and he's very presentable were Jackson isn't -
I thought the rule change came in this season because of what happened at Peterborough last season i.e. Virtually changing there team completely just a matter of days before the cut off,
-
We will see you there now

So does this situation cause a problem with there Visas
-
When Segy was "Released" by Ipswich he stated that as he never had a team in the U.K. His Visa would be revoked, Will this also apply to the 2 Kings Lynn renegades
-
Ipswich hold our head in shame, you should be charged with bringing the spot into disrepute, how on earth can an experienced so called Promoter make such an cock up

Re this years attendance, you don't have to be a mathematician to work it out, stadium Full to capacity 75,000, 1/2 full 37,000, now is there anyone that was there or seen it on BT that would say that Stadium was 1/2 full? Absolutely no way

Australian Matt Marson had is average reduced from 5 to 3 allthough he rode in the Australian Speedway Championships, and Daniel Spiller rode for Eastbourne in 2015 and as my post mentioned, last week he won the German Under 21 Championship, which now means he can only ride for Germany in the future so our NL was used to train a future Germany rider and every meeting he rode in for Eastbourne deprived a English rider of experience
-
The extra bag searching was because it was the 22nd of the mouth, I'm sure you know why that is significant, The capacity of the Statium is 75000, on that basis there was no more than 25000 there yesterday, I've only missed 2 meetings at Cardiff, and without doubt yesterday was the worst by far, very sad
-
On the day a rider that has ridden in a Australia championship gets his average reduced from 5 to 3 Daniel Spiller who also rode on a 3 wins the German Under 21 Championship
-
When we were at Redcar only a few weeks ago Carr scored 7 his replacement tonight 000

Well that was interesting Eastbourne make a statement that Saul can ride as he has work commitments,so they have a Guest, but he's in the pits working for Powell, Bloody hell what are Eastbourne playing at !!!!! Congrats to both teams brilliant add for the NL
