  1. Well I’ve heard some absolute rubbish from Promoters in the past but this takes some beating “But we felt he would personally benefit by going somewhere new for a season” So Mason is doing what he thinks is better for a rider and not Birmingham Speedway, we all know JPB was desperate to come back to us, why will he benefit by going somewhere else? Better Track? More Money?Less Traveling? Why did Mason just say JPB doesn’t fit in our plans, not we are doing him a favour by not signing him
  2. I also would like to wish CVS a speedy recovery, I know he sometimes gets some criticism as all Promoters do, but is recorded at Wolves is nothing short of miraculous, you never hear a rider complaining about not being payed on time, or Track preparation, I would go so far as to say it’s the most Professional run club in Britain
  3. Oh dear didn’t realise that, that’s been kept very quiet, and I was thinking of going to Cradley to see some Birmingham riders riding for the enemy, wont bother now
  4. Very strange that no one knows who the new Coordinator is, its such an important position within the NL, I did email The BSPA to ask the question but as yet not received a reply
  5. What else do Peterborough expect, due to the Promoters being excluded from attending AGM due to their disgraceful BungGate actions
  6. Tom Perry Now there’s a Thought, NT Cradley NL Birmingham
  7. Looking at Facebook it looks like JPB will not be back at Birmingham, which if true is very sad, and very odd, I see some fans are suggesting that M Davey as Birmingham’s new number 1, Why would you drop a 17 year old English rider for a 27 year old Australian who lives in Scotland (expensive travel), seems like the new Promoters are making some very strange decisions
  8. I thought Mr Morrish was retiring as the NL Coordinator, and one would assume the new one would have been appointed at the resent AGM, Jason Pipe put on Facebook that he had applied for the position, did he get it,? If not anyone know who did
  9. I think the Mildenhall Promoters should be congratulated for assembling such a good team, and in record time well done to all involved
  10. Well I think Tom Bacon will be looking for a new Championship team, very sad having had such a good first season, at least he will remain a Peterborough asset
  11. Would Scott Nicholls and Tom Bacon fit? As I’m sure the BSPA will relent on the ridiculous rule that’s preventing Scott at the moment
  12. If Tom Bacon is not at Peterborough next season it will be a travesty
  13. Can a Promoter be a Licensed Promoter at more than 1 Track
  14. Each club must have 2 Promoters I think, is this correct Jane
  15. Fantastic news, well done George, History will show you were Mr Newcastle Speedway during this turbulent times in Speedway, I’m now really looking forward to my annual visit down to Newcastle
  16. I remember asking a college why is it that every time Coventry were on Sky and Havelock was on Camera,Lawrence Rogers was ALWAYS by his side, my college informed me that Havelock didn’t have a clue on the rules and Rogers was there to tell him them.
  17. And here’s my thinking Cradley and Birmingham were in the Trophy
  18. Really don’t understand this, there’s no extra teams in the Top League, they run this season so why not next season? Although the times I went this season the attendance was very poor, compared to previous seasons, As for just going just in the Trophy complete nonsense, it will just be a team of 7 individuals taking a guest booking, just like it was at Swindon this season, Cradley fans deserve so much more
  19. I went to is fairwell meeting, he was very emotional, wouldn’t be surprised if he pops up at some Track in the future, but yes a true a Speedway fan, and very successful business man
  20. Does anyone know if David Mason as had his interview to become a Promoter yet, If not who will represent Birmingham at the AGM,or will they not be represented,
  21. Wolves didn’t vote for it, CVS confirmed this at the resent Fans Forum
  22. Thought for sure he’d be back at Cradley, when I’ve seen him he’s been very much a “show man” hope he has recovered from his injury that ended his season so prematurely
  23. All Glasgow fans,I’ve been a regular visitor to Birmingham over the last few years, and let me tell you all, You have got your self’s a Gem in JPB having seen him develop from a 3 point this a 9+ No 1,the team that Glasgow have assembled for next season is very good and will take the pressure of JPB and this is just what he needs, I hope you have bought his contact and you look after him,and bye the way having seen Jack Smith in the same team as JPB for 2 seasons JPB a a far far better rider
