Irrespective of his past, his topic covering Jon Cook and his disrespect to all of the members on this site deserve a ban.

Any Takers For The Elite League?
KIRKYLANE replied to Hamish McRaker's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
When Newcastle were convinced to go up , they were left to fend for themselves. they should have been helped to guarantee a good no 1and share the top riders around. -
Any Takers For The Elite League?
KIRKYLANE replied to Hamish McRaker's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
With the further reduction in GP riders in the EL then we are getting closer to the possibility of having one big league ..... I certainly don't want to see GP riders sharing the no 1 spot as has been suggested .... I'd rather go without them -
No surprise there then.

help needed.. I gave up watching the above a long time ago.... the BBC have snubbed Speedway for years.. Out of curiosity was Speedway / Tai Woffinden actually mentioned tonight and if so did it get more than 30 seconds ?????t

With remarks like that you should be banned from the site. 1. A complete insult to Jon Cook ....... I am not a fan of his but that remark is totally out of order 2. A complete insult to the members of this site. 3. If you were banned then I don't think your comments / remarks would be missed

KIRKYLANE replied to stratton's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Shouldn't it be improve their average the most ? -
At the last Stock car meeting , the Stox promoter put in his programme that they were hoping to name a site before Xmas. Good luck in completion of a new venue

Three good signings so far in Williamson , Payne and Shuttleworth. Keep up the good work

Wimbledon Stadium: Some Important News
KIRKYLANE replied to Parsloes 1928 nearly's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
A sad day that Wimbledon Speedway at Plough Lane has finally bit the dust. Good luck to Wimbledon AFC in their new project. -
More importantly the only people doubling up belong to Belle Vue and therefore nobody will have clashes stopping them riding for Belle Vue

Should Roscoe Step Down As Gb Team Manager ?
KIRKYLANE replied to KIRKYLANE's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I do not believe that Roscoe was not part of the team build for Swindon and therefore there is a link. It does send a signal out regards the make up of the Swindon team of which I am Sure Roscoe was part. Therefore the question is a legitimate one. We all have our own thoughts on the merits of Roscoe and his abilities of being the GB team manager -
He was the darling of British Speedway until the White City meeting where he threw points away to help his USA compatriots.
-
Good luck at Plymouth Stefan Disappointed when you ended up at Swindon instead of Belle Vue. keep on fighting and improving

I wasn't advocating a weak team but simply make sure it is a vehicle to produce talent and increase the asset base. When we won the title in 68, the Colts success was built on the back of two winters of training sessions and training sessions in the 67 season run by the incomparable Dent Oliver . I am sure we will have a good team this year.

National Speedway Stadium Opening Tickets Now On Sale
KIRKYLANE replied to hyderd's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Any chance of some Russian blood... Emil will do !!!! -
Pleased with the signing of Matt Williamson... young talented local lad Just what the doctor ordered.
-
As far as I am concerned the return of the Colts should be about developing riders and increasing our asset base. Not too worried about titles in the first year but stick to rider development and signing new young riders with talent.

Ty is a good bet for Sheffield after the ridiculous way he was forced out last time.... Not Sheffield 's fault. He is experienced and would enhance the team in 2016.
-
Back in the hey day there was no doubling up which is the major headache for promoters with doubling up riders. Guest re injuries are a necessary evil.

I just feel so sorry for the Leicester fans. After so long waiting for their own track , there is a lot of discontent amongst the fans themselves.... grateful to have Speedway back but disgruntled with the way things have panned out.
-
It is pleasing to see Swindon make a statement re the new stadium. In recent months the dialogue from the promotion has been poor and I would expect disappointing for the Robins fans. I look forward to the new stadium ,hopefully in 2016 and wish all of the Robins supporters good luck. Belle Vue's new stadium had it's hold ups as well but everything came through in the end

If Ty rides for Sheffield , perhaps he could double up and help Leicester.... they look like they meed a large chunk of help right now
