If the present owners depart I will happily go back and sadly I think there are many others with a similar mind set. Unfortunately I think the monies they make at Stock Cars will prevent this

World Championship Pairs
KIRKYLANE replied to Mark's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Most impressed with Michael Jepsen Jensen ... some quality manoeuvres in his races Tai was absolutely magnificent on the track with some quality team riding with Robert Robert has shown his capabilities on the world stage and it augurs well for his and GB's future. My mother who is 93 and watched speedway up until the late seventies simply said " it's not fair we scored more points and came second !!!" -
World Championship Pairs
KIRKYLANE replied to Mark's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Rules are on the sgp web site 21 heats as per normal best pairs ... riders from each team can swap positions at the gate top 2 straight through 1st semi 4th v 5th pair 2nd semi 3rd v winner of 1st semi to decide the 3rd qualifying pair -
Nice to see Paul Bowen get his first race win and young Dean score some points. Ben rode extremely well for his 4 programmed ride paid max the Colts should develop during the season as the young guns get more experience
-
Teaming up with Wroclaw is a good step forward for both clubs. Perhaps there could be a Colts v Wroclaw's junior side
-
In 12 Colts matches there was at least one pass in 86 races and a total of 211 passes in total That is just over 7 races per match had at least one pass and a total of just over 18 passes per match in all There were two or three poor matches but overall these figures better many tracks inn GB

Kyle is very level headed and ambitious. His CMA for last year was just over 8 which is very good for his first year and even more impressive as he did this when he was 15 !!! So on average he came 2nd in every race,...... I am sure Ben will develop well during 2018 at the NSS It was great last year watching the young riders develop ...long may it continue
-
pleased to see Kyle has signed for Workington local lad . plenty of potential
-
never mind the team what is going on re the stadium ? Has the drainage problem been solved or what ?

Even in the 60s when the Aces were getting crowds of 10,000 for a league match , stock cars pulled bigger crowds. however it was only once a month and attracted Stock car fans from all over not just the manchester area... The following weekend would be a stock car in Coventry or wherever and the stock car fans would troll over to Coventy for their weekend fix, Still applies but the numbers are not as great

When I started watching Speedway only the top riders were " professionals" The rest had jobs and took days off their holidays to go to away matches !!!! There is room in the Sport for both
-
Lambert has said no Championship for him in 2016
-
Getting closer and closer Fingers crossed
-
Claus Vissing is another " two heads " rider. You never know which head he has on .either he will ride well or can't be bothered
-
They definitely had a meeting at RUgby in the last two weeks of the season...probably a pre agm

When is the National League AGM ?
-
Did you see the Stoke Geriatrics side last year ??????

Pleased they have decided to run. My planned visits last season never materialised due to garbage weather forecasts Hope to get up next year 2 or 3 times
