This is getting ridiculous, therefore have updated my profile photo with a snap i took 5 minutes ago sitting next to my laptop screen with an actual post i made earlier today. Those who know me will be able to verify if this is my real face or an imposter wearing a mask Wow such a simple world you live in, and yes as far as i am concerned i am a normal fan... I just have the fortunate experience of previously and succesfully running the club. I now pay to attend any meetings i can get to if that helps qualify me as a normal supporter on your 'supporter qualification checklist'?

It seems like the world is so used to people hiding behind fake aliases to express thoughts and values in fear that someone will disagree or sue them, when someone is genuine everyone gets confused by it. Would love to pretend that i am not offended by being mistaken as KKS but i am. Visit my linked in page if you like and you will see that my email address is the same one as what has been verified by this forum. Shame more people don't post under their real names as i know a lot of old promoters and riders are on here under aliases.

Clearly i have no dialogue but what you seem to not be able to understand is that i am a fan of the club. Maybe you cant see the wood through the 'trees' but it is clear to most that there are some serious issues which need addressing at kings lynn and within speedway in general before the effects are irreversible.

Whilst I would never say never (I mean just look at Ready power becoming main team sponsor of Poole), I honestly do not think this is going to happen. I do believe that within speedway as a whole and especially at King's Lynn at present, appointments are not being made on skill level or role suitability, which is unfortunate because with the right management team in place I believe any company/sports club can succeed. I think any type of failure is to easy to blame on the workers/riders because they are the ones you see every day and the ones often within firing range. With all the riders already scheduled in and fans already in the advance stages of planning to attend it, I like yourself am bemused it has been called off. Have been over this before with Star Lady and a few others, best to ask them.

I have not been in contact with the club for around 2 years, sure i miss the speedway seeing as i was the driving force behind of it for many years but i am now simply a fan. As a fan i believe i am entitled to pass comment on the happenings at the club which i make an effort to draft in a clear and concise way without any bias. I would suggest the number Trees has kindly supplied could be used by any fan wanting to find out the latest news if the club is not forthcoming with it.

It saddens me to repeatedly read comments like this, it certainly wasn't a legacy I left behind as I believed in keeping the fans informed about everything.... even by text message prior to the modern luxuries of Twitter and Facebook. Haza I would tell you the answer if I knew but I now have zero communication with the club and know nothing more than you..... so I guess I am a KL Mushroom, could start a new fan club under that name if you fancy it?

Something doesn't seem right to me, I wonder if the terms of the contract have been broken by one of the parties and the other is looking for a way out......PERIOD?

Whatever the reason for a change in race night, the decision in my opinion has been made prematurely and has not given the fans enough time to prepare for it. For example Mimmo faces a dilemma this season where as if the decision had been announced at the end of this season to come into effect in March 2017, he would be able to ensure he was available for Thursday night racing... plus we would not have lost Lewis Kerr.

A very strange way to encourage other forum members to come and support their team. Personally I would prefer to say something along the lines of: 'It would be really disappointing if King's Lynn did not line up a new number one for the start of the season and we had to settle for another second string rider to complete the team. However, I am sure the promotion have tried their hardest and I for one will at least give it a go supporting the Elite League underdogs, who will hopefully spring a surprise on some of the more fancied teams!'. I truly hope Axeman does not have any official connection with the club, because if he does, he is not doing them any favours at all!

Wow, cheap team if these rumours are true! Disappointed no rabbit (or specifically a Russian) has been pulled out of the hat but at least one positive.... No Bjerre plus the majority of the team are racers. I predict most of the home meetings to go down to the wire and therefore the crowds will hold up as fans will love the tension.

My previous account was registered under jc@norfolkarena.co.uk email address. I needed to swiftly respond to a post with nonsense written about me and as I no longer have access to that account I was unable to reset my password, I therefore decided to simply set up a new account under my personal email address. I am sure Star Lady will vouch for me when I remind her of the time I stood on the terraces with her at Cradley Heath as a young man and watched the unfortunate carer ending crash with Morten Anderson who at the time lived with my family in Hertfordshire.

I can not understand why this list was not published within days of the AGM concluding. To be honest I am disappointed and I will now be sceptical of its contents when it is finally released to the public.

As I say just a xmas wish as both are very entertaining and would make the supporters happy. Whoever is signed lets hope they have the ability to race from the back and do a lap of honour if they win a race!
-
My wish list for Christmas is Sayfutdinov at number 1. and Chris Mills at number 6. Anyone else want to share theirs?

For me one of speedway's USP's has always been rider and team averages. I remember building many teams in the past that were .01 over the points limit and pulling my hair out as I have had to rebuild it to ensure I stayed within the limit, however it was the rules and is a great way to give a LEVEL playing field and ensure the fans have something to keep them interested in all year round. For me I hold my hands up and admit I must be 'thick' as moving away from making any decisions purely based on numbers is the start of a slippery road and in the end we will have a sport which is no longer governed by numbers and therefore has one less USP and no LEVEL playing field.

As I said before I am just a fan and wouldn't expect any special treatment. However as a fan I do now expect to be kept informed of relevant news and information... good or bad! With regards to the feel good factor it wouldn't take much to generate it again, the formula was simple: 1. Carefully select music that generates a positive and pumped up atmosphere.... don't just play the latest NOW album. 2. discount air horns to a price that fans can afford so they do not hesitate to make an impulse purchase (something i once suggested should be implemented across the whole of speedway). 3. get a good centre green announcer on board who is not afraid of controversy. 4. make sure all riders take an extra lap if they win a race (Chris mills never had to be asked twice to do that). 5. make sure the meeting runs slickly as any unforced delays will simply deflate the atmosphere (If their is a forced delay then without any question the interval should be cancelled). On top of these basics you can throw in some start ladies (16 years and over only) who can perform some routines during delays, and add some themed nights in the summer and give away freebies to everyone (anyone remember the 1000 air inflated pistols I personally handed out on the western night back in the day?). I will always look at 2005 to 2009 as the GOLDEN YEARS of King's Lynn Speedway (nine pieces of silverware in four years), however I do hope that the future brings some new ones for the riders and supporters to enjoy. Are Rosetta Stone now offering this language Star Lady? Ps Whilst I am not privy to any of the facts FWIW I do not feel NKI should be blamed if the Stars do not end up with a suitable alternative (I am crossing my fingers that one will be delivered).

I had noticed the drop in attendance's but it is hard to tell the reason why when you don't live and breath it, so can not comment on whether it is marketing or other factors. Whist I would 'never say never' I am afraid the chances are incredibly low, and even if I did have the desire to be involved in speedway again I could not be sure if it would be with King's Lynn.
-
Not in the know anymore I am afraid, just a regular fan like yourself watching from afar and hoping that the club does well. Was looking forward to finding out who the next rider is going to be.... shame no official word on the delay, not even on the official twitter account

8.05pm and no announcement of a new rider.... do I have the wrong day or have I missed an announcement announcing that the announcement has been postponed?
-
I think masters has more to offer than Batch or THJ, although signing all 3 wouldn't be a bad move!
-
Some great signings by Poole and yet again Matt showing how team building should be done to the rest of the league!

It is a great shame Niels has decided to not return to King's Lynn next year. I must say that it was a great coup to sign him upon our return to the elite league, and during my time at the club he was the nicest and most professional rider I ever had the pleasure dealing with. I wish Niels the best of luck with his challenge for the world championship crown in 2016 and hope that the team building plans at kings Lynn come along at a pace now he has made his decision known.
