I feel it is unfortunate that Josh Bates is back at Berwick so soon but we must move on. This is a major meeting at Berwick and everyone has to support it in every way. A big success might mean the difference in a new backer being impressed enough to come to the club's aid for next year.

Maybe he could have a listen, and report to the football club if things need upgraded?

Let's be positive. Unfair criticism for the sake of yet another sly dig at a promotion battling to run speedway in Berwick. Come on people, back it. Help it. Save it.

I have sent three ideas over the past two seasons. By e-mail as requested. Each time I received a prompt, considered reply, explaining why two of my suggestions wouldn't be practicable, which was fair enough. The other one was adopted and continues today. People, don't girn on here if you want things changed for the better. Ask, tell, demand direct to the promotion. Speak to them on a Saturday or send in an e-mail. As I found out, they always respond.

A huge leap forward from the track videos they were doing there just last year. Superb.

Edinburgh are top of the table for a reason, and Berwick are third from bottom (mostly due to all the injuries) and I'm realistic enough not to expect a miracle tonight. But I do expect to see the Bandits having a go, and hopefully hear encouragement from those beside me on the grassy knoll.

I'm going up, I'm hoping for something to make me even more positive about my team.

Mr Swanton's opinions are worth reading. To decry the whole article on one point someone doesn't like is silly. Speedway needs ideas. New ideas, old ideas revamped and ideas to arrest the current decline.

I am a Berwick speedway spectator who has watched the development of commentary on this forum with growing dismay for some time. I have now joined up to ask that we, the people who want our speedway to continue, get together and take the positive viewpoint of our situation -- and shoot down the ones who try to score points with bile-filled anti-promotion attacks. Come on everybody. Let's work together and make it happen.
