Never got to see any racing at Halifax but called in many years later to view the stadium and with some imagination could visualise where the track once was?

If i recall Peter beat Ove 2-1 that particular day and set a track record of 63 secs which stood for ten years and was only bettered when the track was altered and a new record established (George Hunter?)
I caught a quick glimpse on ITV4 a rerun of "The Big Match" introduced by Brian Moore. No histerics or crazy camera angles or graphics. That's how I remember football on the TV!
Apparently the promotion has issued a fixture list? I wish them all the best and hopefully the people of Oxford and the surrounding area will support the venture.
