Thanks for your support It First is the name on the sponsorship but all the funding comes from personally and I take great pride in seeing the management and team do well delivering 4 trophies last season. It has been and education working closely with Martin & Connor and some fans just don't realise the effort money and hard work that goes on behind the scenes to put speedway on at all.

Alex as the club sponsor I am very disappointed to read those comments. Like you guys I am a speedway fan and I'm glad to help the club with business and financial support to a promotion who work their socks off to bring speedway and success back to the Eagles. People who post I'll thought out comments like that should take a long look in the mirror and think before they post. Thanks for your support.

League sponsors should be impartial and not directly linked to a club. How much was the sponsorship of the NL League?

It first eagles awards night is this Saturday so will the cat be making an appearance? there's 300 going so he or she might be hard to spot!

Connor Dugard needs a medal for bringing in Daniel Spiller, what a performance at Kent having never rode the track before. The team racing skills he showed in heat 9 with marc Owen to keep out the Kent kings was outstanding. Sour grapes from Len Silver who would have grabbed spiller if he moved quick enough, but hats off to the Dugard promotion for decisive management.

The nearest hotel is the Downs Hotel in Woodingdean approx. 3 miles away, more of a pub than hotel, and the other is the White Horse in rottingdean. again more like a pub but both do a great breakfast.

I see the total tickets sold so far is 156, after 4 days, looks like it will be a very well supported event

Shame Richard Andrews is out for 6 weeks ( broken Thumb) he must hate Mildenhall , I wonder what the Dugards will do now?
