He certainly would ! He has proved himself at Somerset IMO but was becoming stagnant and now would be the time for him to gain more, full team experience with another club and rejuvenate that enthusiasm that he so obviously has. Don't get me wrong, I think he is one of the most exciting young riders around and will miss what he brings to our matches but he needs to spread his wings now. He's been good for Somerset and the Somerset experience has been good for him. Go Brady Boy !!!
-
He rides Sheffield and Peterborough well. let them have him. He needs to fledge. Oh and by the way keep a civil tongue in your head. Everyone's allowed their opinions, even you ! Oh, and by the way again, if you want to name drop (Jason Crump), I remember a very young Phil Crump dropping a few clangers as well !!! School tomorrow !!!
-
Oh well! Next !!!
-
Well done ! Sound thinking and a sound team wish list. I would go with that as well.

Yeah! Like stop supporting Speedway and take up Darts !!!

I don't think we will keep Josh, Ritchie or Brady ! In reverse order I think Brady has become disillusioned, lost his edge and will be looking for a new challenge to bump start his potential form, I think he may double up for Poole and Sheffeild. Ritchie en route for Newcastle ? and not sure about Josh. All gut feelings !

Somerset V Glasgow Play Off Semi

Yeah ! As I say he's only a kid and you're probably right that his thoughts are down under. It takes a lot to be on the other side of the world from your home and mates at such a young age. I'll cut him some slack, until next season !!! -

Yes I am! I was in a strop last night and frustrated for the kid, he just seems to have lost the edge. Perhaps as said on here earlier, it could be the effect of DW's situation and a cocktail of too much racing and machinery starting to wear out after a long hard season and after all he, is only a kid ! I hope he gets his mojo back and we get a decent Ref for the Final if we make it !!! -

We've got to watch our backs ! Nick Morris will be out to impress. I have found that Somerset rarely get excited on this forum. -
From a Speedway Fan that happens to live in Somerset and support the Rebels, I sincerely hope the Heathens rally and find new management, I have fond memories of my Leicester days in the 70s and when the Heathens in the old British League came a calling !!! Good luck Cradley !!!

They both want jobs with a bit of power !!! They'd be better off being BUS INSPECTORS (Blakey) -

Sorry to contradict you guys but Vardy was introduced as Scottish last night and her profile on Facebook states that she lives in Burton on Trent but says she - "comes from Annan, Dumfries and Galloway !!! You don't get anymore Jock than that IMO !!! That aside she is still a bloody nightmare of a referee as others in the Speedway World will testify along with McGregor !!! -

Excellent meeting last night, well contested and a slim margin for the next leg held by Rebels. Cookie was awesome last night, almost too awesome to be a PL rider but hats off to him, he was smokin !!! Shame that the margin wasn't a teeny big larger to contribute to a more juicy second leg, we, of course have the lovely Margaret Vardy to thank for that with her ludicrous decision to exclude Charlie Wright for nothing but a hard but fair riding incident. She is quoted as saying her reasoning was "Unfair riding" - - - Maggie ! Get on with your knitting or go and iron your old man a shirt will you !!! Oh, and powder your nose while your about it. -
Obviously my views and values are out of date. I only joined this forum because I am passionate about the sport and it's partakers. I am obviously out of line and I will bow to the younger elements superior knowledge and foresight and bid you all good sport and good day. Thank you for putting up with me for a short period.

That's the difference between you, myself and ChrisBlewett. We have been around Speedway for 50 years each, that's a 100 years of combined knowledge and we probably look further than the end of our noses and the Play offs, the bigger picture if you like, not quick fixes !!! I remember when Garry May was a kid and was struggling for form which I believe he never attained either !!! The saying goes "Those that can, do and those that can't, become managers"!!! I suggest you get a bit more trackside experience before you start challenging the more experienced view. (Like another 40 years perhaps !) Oh and do you think Jensen will be as loyal as LL and still be around for Somerset next year ? In your dreams !

Good news Leigh Lanham on joining Scunny !!! The Somerset Faithful will be delighted that you have a ride!!! We never agreed with your release and knew that you were too good to be left in "The Speedway Riders Pits" Good on ya Leigh !!!

I think you boys (Somerset) are being very optimistic. We have changed one rider !!! "One Swallow doesn't make a summer" !!! I don't see the rot that set in some matches ago will be alleviated but lets wait and see ! Worrall is on thin ice !
