  2. Very sorry to hear such tragic news.Thoughts go to family & friends. RIP
  3. I received an e-mail from Franky on Friday morning & he never mentioned that he was injured. Fingers crossed everything is ok
  4. Gi'it Sum Ommer Franky!!!!!! No surprise to see Krasnikov out in front again, good to see Bauer up there too.
  5. Nice one Franky !!! There is an article on Franky Zorn in this week's MCN. Did they use one of your photo's Conkers? There's also a video clip of Franky: www.motorcyclenews.com/zorn
  6. Whatever they did to the track,it worked well for Franky Maybe Gunther '' No Mates'' should try & help his Team Mates out rather than speakout about them.
  7. IMO Clive Fisher was the best commentator that has covered ice speedway/speedway. Last i heard of him he was at Poole.
  8. Yes i remember it well. Screensport were the only channel to cover Ice Speedway. Every season we had the WTC & world championship rounds & the final. I remember Clive Fisher almost losing his voice when Erik Stenlund won the world title in 1988. Pity it isn't on tv anymore, far more entertaining than that tripe that's on Sky .
  9. Good to see Antti doing well. Franky out in front as expected. Hope everyone is enjoying Christmas. Conkers would you please e-mail me the two photo's you took of Krasnikov (holding his four fingers up) & Franky with his medal from Berlin please only my computer crashed & i lost them.Thank you.
  10. The track record holder prior to Hans Nielsen was Erik Gundersen, who recorded a time of 61.2 on 6/9/89 Kelvin Tatum then equalled the time on the 23/9/89 .
  11. I think Alexander Balashov also did Motorcross.I wonder whatever happend to Sasha?
  12. Nice one Franky!!!!!! That's made up for Nori Haga in today's WSB I think this is the best season Franky's ever had so far, long may it continue. Let's hope Antti can carry on where he left off from last weekend Thanks iris & Conkers for the results.
  13. Noticed Stefan Svensson's name not down for the Sanok Cup Anybody know if he's racing this season? Let's hope we get a full season of racing this year.If Franky Zorn could have had more racing last season l think he could have got into a few A finals. Agree with you Conkers,Bauer will improve, again a full racing calendar is what's needed. Great to see Johnny T back on a bike again.
  14. Nice one Conkers!! Hope your keeping well. Any news on how Johnny Tuinstra is getting on?
  15. Hope you get something sorted Conkers & we see you Berlin.
  16. I'll be in Berlin with the rest of the gang.Conkers, what hat will you be wearing this time?
  17. My top 5 for this weekend. 1. Krasnikov 2. Bulankin 3. Zorn 4. Baseev 5.Posa I'll put Antti Aakko down for 8-10 place. I say this every year,'Franky's gonna have a good meeting this time in Russia' so i'll stick my neck out and say third. Maybe third place is a little optimistic but he's got to have a good meeting there sooner or later.
  18. Hi Conkers, How you doin'? I think you're right about Franky & Posa for top five. Posa, what a man,how old is he now,57-58? He's a legend!!!! Good to see Antti & Slava Nikulin through too. From the look of the line up for the GP's,i think you're in for some great racing in Assen. How you fixed for Berlin this year?
  19. Too true you're not alone on this one Conkers.Yet again it's the fans that have to suffer from politics in sport. Conkers,do you know which one of the Russian Federations it will be that takes a team to Berlin for the World Team Championship? Hope to see you there!
  20. Well done Graham Sorry to here about Stefan Hope he can get back in the saddle soon. Anyone else going to Berlin this year?
  21. Hullangel, would it be possible to have a copy of the DVD?
  22. I'd like a copy please hullangel. How much you asking for a copy?
  23. Hi Conkers, sorry it's taken this long to get in touch.Sad to read the news about Gunter. As you say Conkers,it's rapidly becoming a Russian only sport. If the likes of Posa,Franky or Antti get injured before the GP rounds get to Assen or Berlin, will we see a drop in the crowds?
