What a difference it was last night. Enjoyable meeting, dirt on the track, Hume and Hagon going much better, along with Woody and Smith looking good when they weren’t throwing points away. For all Cook wants his slick consistent surface, last night proved that a bit of dirt certainly doesn’t go amiss, and we shouldn’t cater to one rider. That track provided more passing, more entertainment, and the best team result we’ve had this season, end of.

I think Redcar look better than Glasgow currently, having seen them h&a to Berwick, Glasgow were better at Shielfield, but it was first meeting of the season, but in the away leg Redcar looked the much better home team. It’s still very early though, if Boughen picks up and Dan T comes back ok from his injury they’ll be there.
