  1. No Edinburgh fan provided any weather updates in 4 hours since Bandit59 asked?! Poor form as any other teams fans are quick to let away travelling fans know, like when I asked Pboro fans on Sunday. We just want to know what the micro climate is like in Armadale.
  2. Personally hope it rains, sorry guys, need all the help we can get to try and get to these damn playoffs (never gunna happen)
  3. 1 I never said it was monarchs riders moaning... it was the fans I was on about... 2 I said I believed we would of won in 10 heats in the rain on that night, so no... we won’t win, we missed the chance we had imo. Stop twisting my words sir. Anyways this is Ipswich v Berwick, good to see Ippo put the meeting on, both of us are probably going to miss out on the play offs but at least the meeting is on and credit to Ipswich for continuing to try and get the meeting on despite the many rain offs.
  4. The rain that was falling whispered it in my ear as the monarchs moaned, pretty obvious it wasn’t going to get to heat 15 when it started raining 5 mins before heat 1.
  5. Think I’m going to head down today, nothing else to do and I fancy us to at least give it a real good go! Is the weather OK and no chance of rain off Pboro fans? Any updates are really appreciated as it’s a long way!
  6. Not running meetings on GP saturdays to support Glasgow’s number 1 lolol don’t bite.
  7. LOL what part is wrong? The season starts on the 1st of March and the cut off is the 16th of September, that is OVER 6 and a half months, you have 10 home meetings to run in that time... You can comfortably do 10 home meetings in 3 months if you wasn’t stopping for all GP’s and World Cup’s and everything.
  8. Was you there at Armadale? Made the gate 3 out of 3 and could of been 5-13 to be quite honest with you, with it only going to heat 10 due to the rain we would of put Pijper and NBJ in as many races as possible in the first 10 heats to get as many points as we could early on and so yes I do believe we would of been winning at heat 10 where the meeting would of stopped due to the rain.
  9. Rich coming from a Workington fan who hasn’t stopped moaning since May, the cut off has been extended once already, why should it be extended again?! It doesn’t work like that in any other sport. You have 6 and a half months to complete 10 home fixtures it’s not exactly difficult... You could run 20... I know the BSPA cancelled a couple of your fixtures but that isn’t really that much of an excuse you’re still behind.
  10. I appreciate the risk of injury but was anyone injured/did it look dangerous? The deadline is in 10 days and it’s just so frustrating, we completed our 10 meetings so easily and could have got another 7 or 8 in as well before the deadline, there is literally no excuses for this situation apart from Workington and to a lesser extent Lakeside. Away team should be given the points at the end of the season unless the away team have actively tried to stop the meeting from going ahead.
  11. Second time we’ve been shafted whilst winning away, absolute travesty that we completed all of our home meetings in time and we’re not going to make the play offs because of an extended deadline and everyone else not bothering to run home meetings against us
  12. Should of been ran the first time about 4 months ago when the weather was apparently fine...
  13. Another ippo-bandits rain off?! no thanks! need the meeting on so that one of us can at least try and get to the play offs.
  14. Away fans who dont want the hassle of rain off procedures who wouldn’t be able to make the rerun, also I usually decide on the day of the meeting if I’m going to Armadale or not.
  15. Well Doolan was also there on merit... Berwick’s number 1 at the cut off point. Simple. Covatti is Ipswich’s number 1 fit rider as well due to Schlein and King being injured!
  16. Exactly, Tero done well, and Craig was struggling against these riders and gave up in one of the races at the back, although did get himself sorted and looked good in semi and final it shows that he is NOT at GP standard, everyone can make the gate once in a while and get a couple points at the level above what you are currently at, which is what Craig is doing in the GP’s.
  17. Mind I wish some fans would lighten up and actually cheer on their riders, it was like a funeral every heat that didn’t have a Berwick rider in it.
  18. Because he’s not against Tero Aarnio, Kevin Doolan and Nico Covatti in the GP’s.
  19. The one where you don’t get a facility for missing a meeting for driving. For FIM longtrack events you only get a facility for the day of practise and the day of the meeting, the practise and the meeting is both on today. Suprised Godfrey has let it happen to be honest but it’s Speedway after all... the most amateur proffesional sport in the world...no wonder nobody takes the sport seriously from the outside anymore.
