  1. Not really, you cannot put Luke Chessell in the same bracket as Leon Flint and Tom Brennan who are getting 7+ points in some meetings.
  2. Yep that’s what I’m saying, although Shanes won’t be at reserve anymore... Will be Stoneman and Paco?
  3. Looks like he was struggling to beat Leon and Shanes last season so I doubt he’ll suddenly have the beating of Zach and Ulrich? Although will be happily proved wrong tomorrow Danny! Do the business Mr Entertainer. I think it will be a very close meeting, depending on how well Ellis does then I think Berwick might just sneak it but if Ellis performs like he did last night then Birmingham might have their first win! Prediction is 44-46
  4. Doesn’t look like very good scores to me? In NL last season?
  5. Berwick line up confirmed as Summers R/R for Jye (everyone but Summers) Gappmaier Doolan Jakobsen Ayres (G) Flint Unsure on this, always am when there’s a guest at reserve with R/R in main body
  6. Because that’s his Premiership average after conversion? Makes sense to me? Why didn’t you guys sign him in the first place? He would of been a better signing than any of the riders in your team? And wasn’t on a high average.
  7. Will be good to be able to listen on the radio! Is it a full meeting coverage? Like a radio 5live/talk sport sort of thing? Very good idea!
  8. Yep just checked Berwick’s website and the result column is empty, very odd
  9. How would it be the same number of meetings? Surely Somerset in a group of 3 having 4 meetings finding themselves in a group of 6 having 10 meetings is more than 1 extra meeting?
  10. What is the easy way? It’s a group stage of a tournament with 11 teams in it?
  11. Start of the league campaign for Berwick away at Birmingham and after the two clubs very different starts to the season I think us Berwick boys should be going for a win here. Unsure on Flinty’s choice of guest for Jye but if he can get that right we will have a chance. Unless we are going with R/R? Gappmaier looked to have a good meeting at Birmingham last season which will be a massive bonus for us and Summers and Leon are former Brummies.
  12. You guys need to draw at the Dale to make it through to the semis
  13. If the Spiller brothers are eligible for coming in as 2 pointers one of them could be worth a shot for Glasgow, I see they both signed as assets for Eastbourne.
  14. Not mocking him at all, he’s had a year out and wasn’t good enough for Championship before his injury never mind after it? But it just doesn’t seem fair to me, should be any 2.00 not currently in a 1-7 imo but as they say, thems the rules.
  15. Hold on can Glasgow get away with using other 2 pointers to replace half a lap behind Chessell? Like Flint and Brennan?
  16. Couldn’t disagree with a post more, what sort of ambition is that? What would you prefer Someone scoring 12 from 5 at home in 55-35 wins and 0 from 3 away in 49-41 defeats Or Someone scoring 7 from 4 at home in 50-40 wins and 5 from 4 away in 46-44 wins? I know what gets you more league points and trophies. You’re still winning on a weekly basis at home?
  17. The one against Rye was the same as the young shield or whatever its called, not the league cup/shield
  18. Easy home win, keep the faith, should of won last night if our guest raced to the finish line instead of the start line, we’ll out gate them I’d imagine.
  19. I was thinking the other day I cannot remember us ever qualifying out of it but I’m sure someone will have an answer
  20. Oops sorry guys, I knew a win was enough but had forgot a draw wouldn’t be, anyways it would be the biggest disaster of the season if we can’t beat that Edinburgh team tonight, my prediction is around 60-30
  21. We’re in as best loser as long as we don’t get beat off Edinburgh tonight never mind what Glasgow do so yes I will count some of my chickens
  22. Yes that should be us into Semi’s now but how long do we have to put up with our team covering for R/R and our number 3 away from home
  23. Should of won that like I predicted, pipped on the line twice by a very stylish Pickering, Doolan beat off Willy Lawson and Bates falling in ht15 whilst in the required position... Quicker we bring Theo in for Gappmaier the better imo, despite how good he is round Shielfield. Still a very good performance from Summers, Doolan and Coty and of course Bates done ok.
