  1. We have a packed out schedule until September, and have got 2 very popular former Bandits in as guests. But I do completely understand what you mean, it’s not our team, but a lot of fans will be very happy to see Complin ride in Bandits colours again.
  2. Not that you’re bitter or anything State of Newcastle fans these days. To think back to how successful they were 10 years ago
  3. Really??? I thought it was a nice night weather wise at Brough
  4. I presume you weren’t near the pits then and are just trying to stir, as plenty saw it happen
  5. I witnessed his dad getting hit by someone in the pits but I suppose the Newcastle promotion and fans don’t want to talk about that part. Winditin Winditon
  6. Ace has broken fingers, so didn’t want to risk falling off and hurting himself, as the Bullets have a meeting tonight that he wanted to be fit for. As for the silencer, there was something very wrong with it, it had a crack in it, but there was no proof as to when that was done, and was obvious that it wasn’t done to cheat.
  7. Second half was cancelled due to the Berwick juniors not wanting to ride, nothing to do with the goings on in the pits. I did witness Newcastle fans shout abuse at all the Berwick riders and promotion, so if a couple Berwick guys gave some back, then fair game in my opinion, as it was the Newcastle fans that started the verbal abuse… as usual.
  8. Idea is to win the meeting, nothing wrong with managers playing around with tactics to try and win a meeting in my view, I do completely understand the point of view of the ‘lesser reserve’ though, and I think they should be informed before signing the contract that it will be happening
  9. What a shambles of a day that was. Burger van ridiculously expensive for the poor stuff you were given, 1 ambulance to save Granty some money and mug the fans off, Congreve having delayed concussion just in time for when Newcastle were struggling and couldn’t afford a last place. Track is an absolute disgrace and not a single rider looked comfortable on it. The Berwick juniors refused to ride on it because of how poorly prepared it was, on the advice of the senior riders, lucky if there was about 400 Newcastle fans there as well, saw more Berwick merch than Newcastle
  10. You just stick to looking at the updates and don’t bother giving an opinion on a meeting you didn’t attend, was plenty of passing, but it rained for 5 hours straight, so of course it’s not going to be normal track conditions, but that doesn’t suit your agenda does it
  11. Aye nice to see some good passing and your team winning at home, good result for the 1-5 Diamonds I see
  12. Well written piece in the Bandits v Oxford programme from Gary Flint, not exactly happy with Wednesday night
  13. Awful take, watching riders struggling hitting ruts and lifting, letting other riders pass isn’t good racing. Some fantastic racing at Berwick this season so far, not just Bomber, who’s had a fantastic start to the season for Berwick and Peterborough, the two teams he actually rides for, maybe if you had a number 1 and didn’t have to borrow everyone else’s it wouldn’t matter.
  14. Yes, there is, would never be able to get insurance otherwise, and you would be silly to run without that
  15. When people are saying you need a second ambulance, that doesn’t mean taking one away from the NHS ambulance service, it would be ‘st john’s’ or a private ambulance/paramedic firm, the same as what your paramedics and ambulance is in the first place
  16. Don’t feel any sympathy for Birmingham’s promotion, it’s something the majority of clubs have covered for years, and should be mandatory, you cannot abandon a meeting for an ankle injury, when there’s a hospital 5 miles away! Even if a paramedic went with him in a van/the ambulance, and then returned, the public and the away team shouldn’t have to put up with that.
  17. On a Wednesday night? 9.5 hour round trip, bit silly to expect any more than 7 riders, 7 mechanics, a team manager and 5 fans at a push.
