When Berwick was owned by John Anderson, it would of arguably been the best, but to be honest, I can’t think of any that stand out these days, anytime i’ve had Redcar’s food, it’s not been great, not been to Scunny for a while though and have heard good things. P’Boro had some alright stuff but was double the price of everywhere else, Rye’s chippy was decent.

To clarify, my comment was not in any way a dig at Glasgow, you pay well, but I wasn’t referring to that. I was simply saying that Chris Harris WILL be on a guarantee, just like virtually every other big rider in the Championship has been for the last few seasons. The ‘cap’ on it will be for payments from the club only. Bomber had a sponsor at Berwick this season who paid him a guarantee, in agreement with the club. This will be no different this year, you can’t stop a rider from getting sponsorship money after all. You can stop a club from paying a rider too much, but you can’t stop a rider from being paid too much.

Jonas Knudsen could be a good shout you know. As has been said previously, is good friends with Leon, and will be teammates with Schlein this season at Berwick as well as Leon. Was averaging over 6 as a newcomer in Championship, looked great at Oxford, Redcar and is a good prospect.

I was looking for a season ticket to Bandits only too, but I doubt it’s going to be double header with so few fixtures in the calendar, bar possibly when Leicester and Oxford come. They’ve got Bullets prices, and didn’t advertise double header prices. The rise in admission is a joke and I will now be thinking twice each Saturday before going, which I’ve never done before. Normally you’re deciding between something on the TV, or who the opposition are, now I’ll be bringing personal finances into it too as £3 more, to watch a worse team, is excessive. Adding to that, Bullets were £10 this season on the gate, and are now £14! £4 extra for NL is ridiculous. Concession’s prices, whilst don’t affect me, worry me, as there will be plenty who can’t justify that price hike. And for people saying just book online, you used to get £1 booking fee last season, see no reason why it won’t still be £1. So you’re only saving £1 not £2 by booking online.
