  1. It's not his job to, his job is to attend every week with his £, they should have someone already to do this sort of job but unfortunately they dont, no disrespect to Lani but she has a job as well as kids and therefore I feel as though there should be someone who just does this, like someone who is retired or someone with a lot of time on their hands who would be comitted to doing this
  2. Yes BUT stuff like this should still happen and that is why we need someone to be doing stuff like this as people within the club all have full time jobs unfortunately
  3. Claus is still injured, do Peterborough just make everything up in their press releases?
  4. Peterborough obviously had a say in this meeting as they would have to agree to ride their but surely it should of been brought up that they have riders riding in the Danish league and that they may be riding that day, another farce in this league and yet again what a suprise its revolving around Peterborough, it makes a joke of our sport tbh
  5. CVS didnt need to check the rules, he wouldnt of thought to check the rules for signing a premier league rider from the elite league as he is an elite league promoter, it is Peterborough's job to make sure that they are able to make this signing and after the BSPA has approved it is when they should announce it to their fans
  6. Because a member of the BSPA management committee suggested looking into signing Jacob Thorsell that means that you dont check the rule book?
  7. because they are making an illegal move, i dont understand how the BSPA are doing wrong, just simply following the rules that they have had to imply due to Peterborough not following them
  8. hopefully it is similar to Saturday track wise, although people, dont expect a lot of 'racing', looking forward to seeing Thorsell, very interesting
  9. Looking forward to this, Lambert has been the rider I've been looking forward to seeing round Shielfield this season and now even-more-so that I can watch it over and over again Hoping for a solid Bandits victory though, going to be a tough meeting for them but I think we can pull it off as Peterborough are in a little bit of a dry patch these past two weeks
  10. Hall has a lot of talent on a longtrack bike and that should be applauded
  11. So Glasgow were missing 3 riders and still had their top 4 riders where as Berwick were missing 2 of their top 3 and our 'in-form' rider who would of been rolling in the points last night, was it really that unfair? Glasgows choice of guests got 3 points between them and that was 1 beating the other or 3 riders in a race where as our National League guest managed to get 7+3
  12. I would stick with guests if its the case of just bringing someone in for the sake of it, its always good to have 7 of our own riders but if these 7 riders include 2 on assessed that isnt near their assessed average then the season will go downhill quicky, thats why i believe Seb or another established rider would be better for us although the options are very limited
  13. Hawkins and Edberg is very like for like tbh Would love Alden back, if he's in the right frame of mind that is, we need someone thats for sure
  14. Another thing which annoyed me tonight was that when the paramedics came back from seeing to Tommy Jorgensen Dick Barrie refered to them as the 'yellow people' i know that obviously it was just a name but to be honest they do a hell of a lot more work and should be respected a lot more at Berwick speedway than him and therefore Dick should have no right to say something like that about them as if he was better than them
  15. boo hoo, i have bigger contacts than you, use them then, surely the saying, 'if you dont ask you dont get' comes into play with sponsorship
  16. Ben Barker's result from the mri scan has brought back that he has broke 3 verterbrae in his back, not good news
  17. You seem to be close to the club, infact very close to be able to know the subscription number which as far as i am aware are not public but I could be wrong, as well as to say that you are not even a Berwick supporter?
  18. Peterborough will be in Sky again on Wednesday the 8th of July at Berwick
  19. 1 definate broken vertebrae, was having an mri scan today to see if an operation was needed
  20. I'm not sure how you could possibly say that, as far as I'm aware he hasn't rode the Berwick track and has not rode European speedway before and is suddenly being thrown in at the deep end, I wish him well though
  21. I can only agree with this, it is quite relieving knowing that Berwick fans can actually post comments which are constructive occasionally
