  1. Have none of you payed any attention to the NJL before? the 125/150cc races are over 3 laps where as the 500cc races are over the normal 4 laps
  2. BUT Bellego and Klindt wasn't attacking the track so much so that they wasn't in control, unlike Bates and Garrity, who were a danger as it showed to other riders on the track with them
  3. Has anyone listened to GRT Media's podcast, if not download it on Itunes and give it a listen, absolutely brilliant words by Kevin Doolan
  4. Both Sissis and Mathias suffered injuries last night, Arthur's being a suspected broken collarbone, unsure on Mathias' injury but he withdrew
  5. I thouroughly enjoyed this meeting, it was a long drawn affair but it was a close meeting so exciting. I thought the track was the best it has been all season, I think the majority of Berwick riders would agree with that as well as fans, maybe not the Sheffield ones though...One thing I have to say though was if the night was ruined by anything it was three 'promising' British riders, Jason Garrity, Craig Cook and Josh Bates. Jason Garrity done his classic lock up because he has minimal control of his bike, Craig Cook takes himself to social media to have a dig at our captain for sticking up for the track and the track itself, it produced some brilliant racing I thought, was by far the most exciting meeting of the season, I think Craig needs to bare in mind that he bet the track record by 0.5 seconds, which is over 3 seconds quicker than the fastest time of the season, the track was very even and produced the best racing we've seen on it this year, congratulations to Razor imo and that's for Bates, well what can you say about him, it was a disgusting move, turning right on Liam (who was ahead) half way down the backstraight, hope Liam is okay as well as Sissis who was mighty impressive and Thornblom who was incredibly unlucky that Garrity can't keep a hold of his bike
  6. Bates should of got the 'red card' after that shocking excuse of racing, fencing him half way down the back straight is not acceptable what so ever, he went right across him
  7. After heat 5/6 the Sheffield team wanted the track changed or the meeting abandoned, Kev told them where to go, Cook rode the track fine all night, he's just a bad loser, Kev outrode him completely then he wasn't going to shake his hand, Klindt didn't want to be there and Bellego didn't look as if he did either, Arthur Sissis was unbelievable, Garrity needs to stop riding like an absolute toolbox and consider the riders around him's safety and Bates shouldn't of been allowed to continue after that, hope Liam, Arthur and Mathias are okay, the Sheffield riders tried to bully tonight, disgraceful, nothing was wrong with the track, they just needed to ride it with a bit of sense instead of going flying about hitting people and locking up
  8. Wasn't the first round in Italy, I'm sure he was the wildcard
  9. It doesn't offend me, but it may well offend the people who you pay to watch put their life on the line
  10. It says in the newsletter that he's riding at 4? They have mentioned a lot that he will be back for August despite most fans knowing that that would not be the case, the promotion even promised us that we wouldn't have to put up with r/r anymore, brilliantly done
  11. He won't pick up many/any guest bookings as the chances are he won't be scoring a load of points every meeting as he was before his injuries
  12. What's the point in Claus coming back half fit for 1 month where he could have already had his op and be thinking about next season
  13. Don't put yourself down, I enjoy reading your column more than any other one in the programme
  14. You don't know our council, most of them are being investigated on by the fraud squad at this moment in time over money given to the town, they're as dodgy as an Turkish market I only know of him and he doesn't live in the country, considering his son rides at number 6 I'm sure that he'll know by now
  15. Can anyone think of anyone who would be willing to put money into Berwick speedway to keep it going? I can only think of one person who likes speedway, goes to Berwick and is known to have money
  16. On Saturday Dennis was back doing his announcing duties from the box with Steve on the centre green
  17. Thought I was the only one lost in all the numbers
  18. talk about getting shot down, at least he is trying to come up with ideas to save the club he has a passion for, move on
  19. NL could work if Scunny, Redcar and Worky dropped down as well but we wouldn't survive on our own
  20. So Berwick's averages were in the top 8 but didn't qualify because Barker and Vissing were injured, Peterborough had Allen injured and Lambert, Konopka and Grondal were ineligible but still got in? what a load of s**** the next team down should be in it and ai don't blame Peterborough btw as it is the BSPA who have allowed all of this rule bending
