  1. think that may of been about Seb Alden...probably not the best time for jokes yeah?
  2. F*** sake, gutted for you Seb, take it easy, Bandits luck strikes again
  3. Steve Worrall got 12 from 5 getting 3 wins and Theo Pijper got 11 from 5 getting 3 wins?
  4. Is Garrity riding? Berwick team is 1 Jorgensen 2 Doolan 3 Pijper 4 Wethers 5 Alden 6 Hummel 7 Wajtnecht Not expexting much, 40 points would be an achievement I think and hopefully Hummel to get off to a decent start, safe meetingf to all riders
  5. Mine would be Lambert, Krystian Pyszczek and Pawel Przedpelski would be my 3
  6. I think they're lying then as Pijper and his young Dutch friend were definately there? Not sure on any others though.
  7. It was first time for both, half way around the world? He's from Czech and is one of the best riders in the country, representing the said country in World Under 21 qualifiers, ie yesterday and has rode in plenty of big meetings. I know that he was recovering from an injury but you have to wonder why he was riding because he was so far off the pace? Scunny trying to get the 4h 4a quickly so they could 'make changes'
  8. I think it will be closer than that, this meeting appealsmto me as well, I think you guys might be in for a cracker 47-43
  9. Bad show from promotion saying everything was fine and dandy, hope there wasn't many who had travelled a long way
  10. It was Josh Bailey's first time there as well, a lot younger and A LOT more inexperienced but managed to get to grip within a lap and comfortably bet Holub, funnily enough, by the length of a 'long narrow bumpy straight'
  11. mate the way Holub rode around Berwick makes Bager out to be a solid heatleader, I think Berwick's mechanics aka John Morrison, Alan Ferrow, Jamie Robertson, Gary Flint and our TM Scott Courtney could of all beaten Holub... comfortably
  12. It can work both ways, in one way these riders deserve it for giving us supporters good times and the club owes them for that BUT, although I know A LOT of the ones who come just get in for free anyways so it doesn't really matter and the ones that actually are pay are making the club lose out on entrance money, unless of course they bring family with them, who pay and that changes everything, good bit of publicity for the club though and by the looks of the FB post it has went down very well indeed.
  13. No one asked for the club to mention that a rider was going to be practising, I just think that the club should of told the fans that they were having a practise to try and sort our weak home performances of late out. Taffy's choice whether he want's to tell people but I knew of Theo's friend a few weeks ago. Not aure if the kid is ready but it can't be a bad thing him having a practise around our track, save him for later
  14. Funny that isn't it...when a Club spokesperson doesn't inform the fans of what's going on, it's not as if it's secretive, everyone in Tweedmouth will be able to hear it but it would be nice for the Club to include it in the, may I add, wonderful newsletters that a practise was taking place to try and sort our home defeats out, in a way, you's have shot yourself in the foot by not doing so as people would be impressed that they are all comitted to travel to the track and make the team effort needed.
  15. Also heard it several times since Saturday night, are you in a position to tell me otherwise? If so, please do
  16. didn't speak to the said rider but got told off someone who most definately did and I agree, he does have a point
  17. any names/teams confirmed for the pairs meeting then jengz
